Restful stay at Phoenix House, Stettler

My wife and I visited Stettler for the train ride to Big Valley. We stayed at Phoenix B&B guest house. Our hosts Dave and Barbara Lynn Goodwin were wonderful. Their grace, knowledge, friendliness and hospitality were welcomed and comforting.
Set in a quiet neighbourhood with a lush garden, the beautifully appointed and maintained house has an old family aura and feel to it.
After a peaceful and tranquil evening on the master bedroom's balcony overlooking the back garden, we retired for a restful night's sleep.
The next morning we had fresh coffee and a carnivore breakfast, as requested, consisting of cheese and ham omelettes, with muffins, blueberries and yoghurt as optional extras.
Great conversations about family, cultures and travel continued, only to end because we had to slowly get back on the road.
We left with heavy hearts, yet uplifted and enerized by our new friendship.
Phoenix House is our new home from home in the beautful Alberta countryside.
A stay at the Goodwins are highly recommended. Ensure to include them in your travel and accommodation plans.

Stopover in Stettler

Everything about this stop over in Stettler was wonderful. The b&b itself is homey, historic and comfortable. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and made us feel very at home in such a sweet setting. The breakfast was outstanding, from the coffee to the fruit dish to exceptional French toast. All of the experience was positive and we felt accommodated and welcomed throughout our stay. If you are going to Stettler, definitely make a stopover here.

Friendly, hospitable hosts and beautiful historic rooms. 10/10 highly recommend! Host can also help with discounts on local amenities and tourist attractions.

Perfect experience
