It was an incredibly relaxing stay complimented with a beautiful view, access to the beach and a top tier restaurant where I had the most amazing steak dinner.

Long wait times for mediocre food

Beautiful location and excellent staff BUT the breakfast and dinner experiences were consistently sub-par during a five day stay. The restaurant and kitchen appear to be extremely understaffed. The wait times were unacceptable, the menu was too limited, and the food quality was mediocre. The wonderfully made cocktails did lessen the overall impact of the mediocre food and long wait times. This restaurant desperately needs better management.

Simply wonderful!!!

By chance, we discovered this location and thought in the beautiful weather: "Hey, why not just have a drink on the terrace!"
The view from there is amazing, and we relaxed wonderfully. Moreover, we were lucky because between 3 PM and 5 PM, there is Happy Hour with selected food and drinks at special prices.
So, we enjoyed not only the cool drinks and the good, hearty food, but also the whole atmosphere and the great, friendly, and attentive service from Michelle and Rachel! One must say: the two ladies know what service is! THANK YOU and compliments!
Our tip: anyone driving through Sooke should take a detour to Sooke Harbour House!

Great food and great views

I went to Sooke for a day trip with my cousin and went to the Harbour House based in a recommendation from my sister who was there 15 years earlier. I find the food quite good with a spectacular food. The staff was very friendly and they served local wines. In really enjoyed my lunch there.

A beautiful Mothers Day Brunch

We came for Mother’s Day Brunch and is was so very lovely. Just the right sampling of traditional brunch favourites excellently done and sweet treats to finish off. All of these enjoyed while surrounded by West Coast beauty. Hats off to the chefs and staff who made our visit special.
