Great little hotel in the lovely town of Smiths Falls

This is a really nice, smaller hotel just outside th town of Smiths Falls, Canada. Very nice staff, clean rooms and very quiet. Breakfast was simple but fresh and very good. The hospitality was much appreciated two Americans, especially given the strained political atmosphere between the US and Canada.

My fault for not asking to change, but I was given the room right beside the lobby and the ice machine. Hall noise past midnight. Noisy adjoining room to 1am. And my toilet valve kept sticking so it ran until I finally turned off the water supply to sleep. Otherwise it was decent and breakfast set up was neatly done.

Clean but otherwise meh

Poor amenities, poor continental breakfast, beds smaller than stated. Queens were doubles. That is a problem.

Hello,
I'm sorry that you feel this way. However, we just changed our beds to Queen sized beds purchased through Serta. We do not have any Double mattresses in the entire hotel.
I do apologize, but the beds are as advertised.

Overall very nice stay. Kind and courteous staff.
As we were there for five days, it would’ve been nice to have a bit of a varied breakfast choice some mornings.

One of the best hotels of this kind that I have stayed out. The room was really nice and the staff were exceptionally helpful.
