Large suite bigger than a 1 Birmingham apartment. Not modern but clean, good shower. Front desk helpful, breakfast ordinary but hot, everything working.

Beyond bad! She tryed to get me arrested for telling her staff member not interupt me when I am speaking!

The Quality Inn general manger needs to have her ability to manage a Hotel reviewed! She gives long winded written excuses ( it could be chapter in mystery novel about and her saintly character) why she screws up blaming the guest for her poor decicions and lack of communication skills!

Well hello again Neil - looks like we've been living rent-free in your mind since you last posted a review from your stay back in April. We are an exceptionally busy hotel and I simply don't have the time to create a new reply, so here is the one I used earlier in reply to your numerous reviews under the various pseudonyms you used! Have a great day!
We are copying and pasting the same response we have sent to all the sites that you have reviewed us on - both under your legal name that was verified at check in and the various pseudonyms you have been using.
We would like to clarify a few things that you have commented on, in your review. You booked your first night with us through a third-party website (Priceline who outsourced to Agoda), a room with 2 queen beds, prepaid to that company (Agoda). You then booked another night through the same third-party company on the next day, again a room with 2 queen beds, also prepaid to that company. On what was to be your third day staying with, you again booked and prepaid through that same third-party company, however, this time you booked a room with 1 only bed only, which is a less expensive room than the one you had previously stayed in. You were offered the option, by one of our front desk agents on duty at that time, to pay the fee to upgrade of $5.00 to a room with 2 queen beds and remain in that same room you were already in, OR you could move to a room with 1 queen bed (the room type you had booked and paid for), which was already clean and available at that time in the morning of 9.35am. You were advised it was at the end of the hallway. You declined to move to the vacant and clean room, stating you “knew” it would “be noisy due to the road traffic”. You also refused to pay the $5.00 room upgrade fee. Therefore, you refused both options and chose to be rude and raise your voice towards our front desk staff, which caused the General Manager to intervene.
You were confrontational and after raising your voice at the GM too, and shouting at the Front Desk Agent to “be quiet”, you were advised that we were not the hotel for you, and also advised that we would no longer honour your reservation for that night. This was cancelled immediately from our end and we contacted Priceline/Agoda to cancel and refund you the money that you had paid them. You were asked to vacate your room and leave the premises. You refused and the GM then explained that if you didn’t leave, we would involve the local Police to ask for assistance with the eviction. You kept coming closer physically to the GM, making her feel unsafe at that point she contacted the Police for assistance. You, yourself also called 911 and also called the Saskatoon City Police while sitting in the lobby, belittling our staff and the GM and refusing to leave the property or to choose one of the two options presented to you. An SPS Officer arrived in response to the call from the GM, yet as you had also called twice, additional resource arrived. The hotel has no control as to how many police cars are dispatched to a call/s. The SPS officer talking to you confirmed the business has the right to refuse service if you are being unruly - which you admitted to being. You also admitted to having raised your voice. The officer spent some time chatting with you while waiting for the elevator and at which point you chose to turn to the GM and state, verbatim, “You should have stayed in England” at which point the Officer told you to stop talking. He took time to escort you to your room to collect your belongings, and also took time conversing with you outside the property before you drove away.
As mentioned , the hotel had already contacted the third-party company requesting the cancellation and full refund of the reservation directly to you, since your reservation was paid to them and not to the hotel. If the third-party company has not refunded your payment as yet, you need to reach out to them directly as you have been instructed to do.
You later called back regarding your wallet that you thought you may have left it in your guestroom. You were offered the option to return to the hotel, be escorted to the room and check for it yourself OR, we could send our Housekeeping Manager to check. You asked us to have our Housekeeping Manager check the room and there, she found the wallet, along with a telephone charger and 3 rings, These were returned to you in person, when you returned to the hotel to collect them. We requested that our lost and found form be signed confirming all items were returned. This is standard hotel procedure for all lost and found items picked up by our guests. You did open your wallet in the lobby when you picked it up and were never stopped by anyone at the hotel from counting the cash or other items inside it. You simply refused to sign the lost and found form while insulting us yet again and decided to quickly walk away with the form and the lost and found items, forgetting you cellphone on the counter. The hotel staff picked up the cellphone and reminded you it was there. No one ever said your phone would not be returned, however, the hotel staff did ask yet again, for the form to be signed and returned to us, as it had already been asked previously. You did so, your phone was returned and you stated ”you are all awful and a piece of work” to one of our senior managers as you were leaving. You then questioned the GM on her marital status while exiting the property and when she did not engage with you, you said, “I’d like to see the kind of state your husband is in”.
You also mentioned your room wasn't serviced - yet your declined housekeeping service when you signed both registration cards and we merely followed your directive. You also mention the the hotel is located in a “high crime area”. Respectfully, you did not report any issues during your two day stay with us and, in fact, reserved again for a third night, which did not come to fruition due to your behaviour.
Thank you for stating "this is my personal opinion" and that "other may view it differently". You also mentioned that it was not your "intent to cause harm" and that is was "only my experience"! We certainly appreciate that and I am sure readers using these reviews, appreciate that too.
