Poor maintenance, budget hotel

Basic motel, can hear your neighbours and folks in the hall. Bus tours frequently here.
Stayed 2 nights. Clean enough maybe but shoddy housekeeping- didn’t make the bed or replace coffee or clean the bathroom.
Tiles around the bathtub were falling down and black around the groat (black mold??), bathroom door didn’t open fully as it stuck on the floor and the fridge stunk.
Front desk staff nice but I’d give this a pass. Only ok cause it’s less than $200 a night.

Just A Motel

We stayed here on our return from L'anse Aux Meadows, located about a kilometre out of Rocky Harbour and no restaurant so not very convenient. The reception was curious as required writing out our charge card number -- apparently as their card reader was faulty ?? The rooms are fine and clean but more of a motel feel that hotel. Access to room off the parking lot or though the lobby area hallway. Nothing special although there room cost ay $250 for a "motel type" room I thought was steep. We paid same price earlier in the week at Oceanview for a much nicer room and certainly the view.
