The castle of the islands

Magnificent location facing the sea. Large suite, very comfortable and well-equipped. Room service over 4 days was insufficient given the quality of the hotel. Excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner. And the big plus, the kindness and support from management to go catch the ferry.

Great location, rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel offers great amenities and the restaurant has fantastic food. The Islands are beautiful and the hotel added to our trip.

Bad experience

We stayed at the Château Madelinot at the end of June. We were very disappointed with the hotel. We had requested a quiet room. We had the worst room, a lot of noise, we were right next to the outside door that leads to the sea. There was a continuous coming and going through this door which caused an enormous amount of noise, the door slammed every time. Also, the hotel employees go out through this door to smoke, so there was almost continuous cigarette smell and smoke. We had chosen the privilege room, so that is the privilege we got. No soundproofing, when the employees came in to work very early in the morning we heard them talking as if they were in our room.
The room offered no comfort, a small armchair and office chair.
I would not recommend this place for a peaceful vacation.

Very comfortable and clean room

Very nice experience at the Château Madelinot. The staff is courteous, the room was comfortable and very clean. Easy access to the spa and pool. The only point that could be improved would be the condition of the parking lot entrance which is full of potholes, but that does not take away from our very good experience at this place.
