Outstanding location and what a magnificent building. The staff were so friendly and the room was huge and very clean.
The breakfast which we had in our room was fresh and tasty.
Highly recommend.

The Cape is the most lovely boutique hotel with loads of dining options around the corner. The rooms are immaculately kept, and the entire place has such a pleasant aroma! Staff are so lovely and helpful. Overall, this is a beautiful and charming stay in wine country!

A very cozy place to stay. Big room, with King size bed, very quiet and a cool vibe. A short and easy walk to the main street in Picton where all the shops and restaurants are located. The breakfast was also amazing and the staff were very helpful and polite.

A Gem of a Boutique B&B

We decided to stop in Picton at The CAPE for a night enroute to Quebec, as it was priced a little lower than our usual choice, the reviews were good, and the included breakfast was appealing.
Any pre-arrival email inquires were responded to in a prompt and friendly manner. We had chosen the Cary Grant suite, but since the Audrey Hepburn suite was unoccupied that night, we were given access to its ensuite bathroom so we wouldn’t need to use the one across the hall that is dedicated to the Cary Grant suite.
The room was attractively appointed and super-clean. There was a welcome note from the staff with some little treats and some complimentary beverages in the refrigerator. Staff were preparing for the next night’s New Year’s Eve gala, but there was no noise or inconvenience of any kind. Note: there is nowhere else in the hotel for guests to gather outside of their suite.
We slept extremely well in the comfortable bed, and the next morning a lovely continental breakfast was left on a tray outside our door. We were very impressed with the quality and the presentation.
The CAPE is an excellent choice for those not needing a full-service hotel. It’s just a short stroll to the shops and restaurants downtown. We will definitely consider it again when passing through Picton in the future.
