Great value in a stunning location

We booked this only the day before arriving and whilst the reviews were pretty good, our expectations weren’t that high. However we were pleasantly surprised. The villas were super easy to find and whilst the reception desk wasn’t manned, a quick call to the owner/manager (number on desk) got us our keys and we were in. We had rooms 7&8 (there’s about 10 or so rooms). The rooms are a great size with large bathrooms (with huge walk in shower and bubble tub bath). If privacy is your thing then the bathroom might cause you a few concerns as the bath overlooks the bedroom and can only be ‘separated’ by a roller blind. This didn’t matter to us as we had separate rooms. The furniture is not the most up to date but it was in good condition and the rooms and linens were really clean. There was a TV and a small fridge if you needed it and the bed overlooked a small patio (with a table and chairs) and the lovely Lake Oysoyoos. We both had the best night sleep of our trip so far and it was an added bonus to have a small private patio. There are a few facilities to make coffee, get extra plates etc but no food facilities - not a problem as we ordered a delivery from Boston pizza (again better than we expected) which turned up within 30 mins. All in all we felt Shiraz villas were very good value for money, comfortable and clean with a great location among the vines near the lake. A great little find

Lovely stop

We booked this from Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. The view from all the rooms is lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is no restaurant but the helpful staff had recommendations and allowed us a slightly delayed checkout after brunch. The air conditioning could have been better but overall I would recommend.

The property was beautiful and nestled within a huge vineyard. However, besides that the experience left a lot to be desired. The office was closed the entire time we were there and there were no check-in or check-out instructions. The room had no toilet paper and it took hours to get someone to bring something by. Overall, not a memorable experience and certainly not worth the price.

Balu and his family were excellent hosts! I would highly highly recommend staying at Shiraz Villa if you’re going as a couple!

A little off the beaten path but quite and clean and nice valley mountain view. Still extremely close to town. Great staff!
