Fabulous stay with friendly hosts
Only positive things to say about Foxingham Farm Bed & Breakfast!! Martin & Shalani are wonderful hosts. I had the pleasure of staying 5 nights here and wish I could have stayed longer! The house is charming, clean and has lots of common area space to enjoy, inside or outside. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked by Martin most mornings with farm fresh eggs from their chickens. Mansfield is the little guard dog, keeping you on your toes. Lots to see and do in the area, with great suggestions and conversation over breakfast. You arrive as a guest but leave as friends. Will definitely stay here again when exploring the Dufferin County, Simcoe County and surrounding area.

Picture Perfect
Pulling up the driveway I knew this was exactly what we needed. A beautiful little farm house nestled beside trees on a large country property. We were immediately greeted by Martin's warm smile. We asked if we could play Bocce he pointed out a perfect big lawn with an apple tree then took us on a small tour of the house.
The left wing is mainly used by the guests apart from office which is used by Martin's wife in the weekday mornings. There is a beautifully appointed living room done in a French provence style which has a TV with Netflix, a gas fireplace, original windows with nice views, overall it's very romantic and clean. The bedrooms are upstairs, each one has its own theme and are very cute. The bathroom is shared but we didn't see the other couple until the next day. The bathroom is updated and has a large bathtub separate from the shower. There is a mini fridge in hallway as well. We stayed two nights and the second night we were the only guests.
Breakfast was nice and simple fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, bagles and cream cheese was also offered...oh and coffee and tea. We had a wonderful peaceful stay, watching Netflix. Playing Bocce, reading, hiking the property down to the river, driving to creemore. We also enjoyed meeting Manie their little white doggy. Which is usually kept in the right wing of the home. The atmosphere and intriguing conversations of travel were second to none. Martin was a perfect host, I can say out of all my travels around the world he is by for the best. Thanks for a lovely stay at Foxingham Farm Bed and Breakfast looking forward to our next stay.

A beautiful house for cozy stay in.
We traveled off season time and also middle of the week. So we didn't have to share the house, except with owners. Practically we had a half of the house to ourselves.
The breakfast was scrumptious, and as was mentioned in other reviews, adjusted to our liking and taste. Martin is truly a great host and cook. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to chat with Mrs. Shalani. But we met their dog Mansfield. Who is a baby and a guard dog of the house.
The house itself is charming. We wish to see it during different seasons as well. There are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby. Martin can give you all sort of secret spots to explore.
No one mentioned before, but we think the place is perfect for star gazing if you come not during skiing season. The stars are bright and many. Not like in the city.
We stayed in a Rose room, which is the most spacious room, except the fact that it is missing a closet. There are hangers on the door and a chest of drawers you can keep your clothes in. It is also the only room that has a balcony. And it looks like it is used to be a Master bedroom of sort as it is adjacent to the shared bathroom. I would say that this is the room with the most of the light.
Another room is across of the corridor and called a Lavender room. Also very charming. Feels a bit smaller, but has a walk in closet, so you can hide all your things away. If I am not mistaken it overlooks the roof of the house with forest in a horizon.
The third room is a Cornflower room. It is the most secluded. Away from the traffic if you can call it so. It also has a walk in closet and a desk. The sun shines in the middle of the day.
Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures of a lounge room. We loved the ceiling chandelier there. We also watched Netflix before going to bed.
Our stay was very enjoyable one. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for the experience of old fashioned country days.

Charming old farmhouse w/basic accommodations
This B&B should be used a fall/winter accommodation only. When I arrived the A/C was on and I thought "great I will sleep good with the A/C on." I left to my function and returned by 11 p.m. to find the A/C off and the room hot and humid. I did not sleep more than two hours that night and left at 5a.m. What a waste of money. ($180.00) I would have been better off driving the 3) hours back home and sleeping in my own house with a/c.

Very different and interesting
First off I did this adventure with our two grandchildren to give them a different experience boy 15 and girl 13 We have travelled as the four of us every summer now for about ten years mainly in hotels So lot of question before hand .Travelling to the country I forgot the distance between every thing so hence to " are we there yet "questions The grandson said as we arrived "this is an old house " I replied yes a wonderful old farm house in the country . Next question was do they have WiFi ? It went on like that for a while until they both realized how lovely and quite the country was. We had a wonderful meal at Mrs. Mitchell and drove around visiting Creemore and the surrounding area . The sleeping arrangement where very comfortable for my husband and myself but the children where dreaming of ghost because this was an old farm house they said . LOL Breakfast was fantastic . Overall would the children do it again NO . Would my husband I do it again yes ,if Martin and his wife sat down with us and chatted more . Would have love to know more history on the place . I needed to keep in mind to maintain a place like this takes a lot of time Thank you Martin next time we will come by ourselves and you and your wife share the coffee with us
