Great views, rooms, amentities and service! Highly recommend!
Our double bed room had a gorgeous view of the beach and was immaculately clean. They even had a dog bed and dog treat for our dog ready! Parking underground was very easy and there was no additional cost (one of the easiest underground parking in all the hotels we have been at!). All the staff (front desk, restaurant and others) were very attentive and friendly. Very upscale hotel, well maintained and worthy of being a 5 star hotel. This hotel is smaller than a chain hotel (e.g. Hilton,etc), so it felt very cozy rather then being a guest of thousands in one hotel.
The mineral pools were very relaxing, clean and the pool area was quiet and serene. Very popular place given the superb views.
The restaurant (the Snug) had good food, the bar looks very inviting as well, but we did not get a chance to partake in the bar. The hotel is close to the beach, so many great jogging sidewalks near the hotel.
The fitness area was very spacious. They had basic equipment (rower, treadmill, bicycle, elliptical and free weights), but it covered basic exercise needs. There was plenty of space for stretching and the fitness room was very well ventilated and had free towels and free bottled water.
Overall, we had an excellent stay and the hotel is very pet, family and children friendly. Definetely a 5 star hotel and we will definetely be back. We highly recommend for an upscale experience.

Wonderful stay at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel in beautiful Victoria BC
Our room was lovely and slightly larger than the standard layout, with an added couch for extra comfort. The bed and bedding were superb, and the spacious bathroom—with a separate toilet room—was excellent. Although our room faced the street and was still very quiet, I would definitely consider choosing an ocean-view room next time.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the oceanfront pool area is a highlight. We didn’t use the spa services, but we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which were well managed with towel service and food and drink options. The gym is small but functional, and the ocean view makes workouts more enjoyable.
We ordered room service and also had breakfast on the terrace—both were very nice experiences. Underground parking (with a reasonable fee) was convenient, and check‑in/check‑out were smooth.
We would happily return on a future visit to the area.
