The hotel has a great view of the Salmon River which is part of the Bay of Fundy. We were able to find good restaurants both for supper and breakfast the next morning.

There are a number of Adirondack type chairs that are on the that goat looks out over the countryside giving a nice place to sit and take in the view
The furniture is old and there is no coffee maker
Plugins are few and far between and there are no usb or phone type charging ports
The check-in system is very manual and paper driven…they hand copy your info off the booking site while you are standing there
I was lectured when I called the office and asked to be reminded of the WiFi password…said they already told me
The only ice machine is in a separate building and not convenient to your room
If you have an upstairs room you can’t park in front of the building and instead are asked to park in an adjacent parking
The driveway entry has a sharp incline and will bottom out your vehicle unless you are going very slow which can be a problem if there is traffic
There is no breakfast but the rates are high

Worst Experience Ever
The man at the counter is the most disrespectful person I have met over all my travels around the world. Unbelievable rudeness.
When I made the reservation, a guy in El Salvador (call centre and phone number I found for the Inn on the internet) did not understand where Truro was, misspelled it and even gave me a room in P.E.I and then misunderstood my credit card #. As a result my credit card was declined. When I got to the Inn, the counter Troll kept yelling at me and I mean yelling at me and kept repeating "Do you want the room or not"? After repeatedly yelling at me and telling me he didn't want to hear my excuses, I left the Inn to go to a much better hotel with nicer people.
I highly recommend you NOT book a room here and spend a night in the woods, because it will be a much better experience.

Run down and creepy
First thing we noticed on the portable AC unit was a big sign warning you to turn the AC off before you use the microwave or hair dryer. Yikes! There was no cable TV, no coffee pot, 2 thin towels, 2 tiny shampoo packets , no conditioner and a run down abandoned creepy restaurant in the parking lot. No queen beds, only 2 pillows per bed. They advertise 1 price then jack it up over $20 for every person staying. We could have gotten a much nicer room for $200 but we were tired from traveling all day and I think that's what they are counting on. Total rip off.

Was a great stay, and would visit again. Although harmless, as we were about to leave a knock came to the door to remind us that check out was at 11 AM. It was 11:01 and there was no one around. Not sure why they felt this was necessary. (it just made us feel a little less appreciated) We dropped the Key at the office @ 11:05
