WORST!!!!!!
First, the bathroom floor was dirty and had a lot of hair on it that clearly wasn’t ours. Cleanliness should be one of the most basic standards of a hotel, so this was very unpleasant to see when we arrived.
The most concerning issue, however, was the lack of privacy and professionalism from housekeeping. My husband was sleeping in the room when a housekeeping staff member entered our room without permission. The reason given was that they wanted to bring us a towel. But we never requested a towel. If you knock and nobody answers, you should not simply enter the room. A guest’s privacy should always be respected. This made us very uncomfortable because we never expected someone to enter our room while we were inside, especially without our permission.
The bed was also very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. We also questioned whether the bed covers and linens were properly changed because they did not feel particularly fresh or clean.
Another disappointment was the lack of basic amenities. There was no refrigerator, no microwave, and no kettle in the room. For the price we paid, I honestly expected at least some of these basic facilities. I understand that the hotel is located close to tourist attractions, which is convenient, but being near tourist spots does not make the price feel justified when the room itself lacks basic amenities and has cleanliness and privacy issues.
Overall, the location is convenient, but for the price we paid, the experience was simply not worth it. Cleanliness, guest privacy, comfortable beds, and basic amenities are things I believe should be expected, especially at this price point. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves these areas for future guests.
