Amazing People!

This place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay; the cabins are cozy, the views are beautiful, and canoes are available for a peaceful ride down the river, but its the people that made our stay extra special. Thank you Star, Lorie, and Mark for making a difficult time so much easier. I cannot thank you enough.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS… this may have been maintained at some point in its history, but that is no longer. The owners must have some other purpose to running this business other than to provide clean, maintained, low-cost accommodation. Friends who are visiting booked this without our knowledge. I was so upset when I saw the state of the place. Hugely embarrassing to have something so poor quality in our area. They are the most polite people we know and we’re very blunt in their assessment… DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE.

Avoid

While I have not been able to verify it, I believe this property has recently changed hands, and the earlier glowing reviews are no longer warranted. My wife and I stayed here two nights ago, and the experience was very poor. The original cabins have been split in two; the kitchen facilities have been removed, and nothing remains but a single room with two beds, and a tiny bathroom. There is not a flat surface to place anything on: no desk, no table. There is one chair, the stackable type with metal legs. Very poor lighting. No standard TV channels are available, only junk free streaming services. Until the new owners upgrade things, this establishment is to be avoided. One star at most.

Not as advertised

The beds where terrible, over priced for the lack of quality they advertised. We told them about the mattress needing to be replaced because you sink in the middle. He stated people like it that way . Our cabin was at the end and you had to climb the hill . Not older people friendly.

No hairdryer as stated
No cleaning in 4 days
Restaurants has limited hours so be prepared to cook own meals
Lots of traffic noise
Plumbing leaks
Sounds carry easily between cabins
No insulation
Only plug-in heats and fans available
Wi-Fi does not work
