Very lovely!

The Rosemead House is very charming! It is beautiful, elegant, funky and fun! I love the old world charm mixed with funky modern designs. We spent a couple
Of nights there this summer as part of a BC holiday and I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed it.
The restaurant, Janevca, is what brought us here. On our last trip to Victoria we stayed somewhere else and the concierge recommended the restaurant. It was incredible! Once we walked I the the hotel we knew we wanted to stay here on out next trip. And, so we did! I cannot recommend the restaurant and hotel enough!

A Gem of a hotel!

My girlfriends and I stayed at Rosemead House on a quick vacation to Victoria and Nainamo. What a wonderful hotel!!! Beautiful interior with a mix of vintage and modern touches. The bathroom was a big hit with the Japanese toilet, heated floors and large tub. Coffee service in the morning was such a nice touch. Nice staff and comfy beds will make this our go to hotel in Victoria.

Beautiful hotel and amazing rooms! The only thing that could be better is: 1) the surroundings are still under construction so keep that ind mind before making a booking. 2) we mentioned that it was our honeymoon, also to the restaurant, but there were no mention of that other than when checking in. We would expect for a 4-5 star hotel that it would be mentioned or played attention to. This might be because it is new.
3) The surroundings are beautiful, however, there were not many places to sit and relax, not even indoors. I get that it’s a boutique hotel of sorts, but it would be nice with more relaxing places to relax outside, especially when the weather is good and there’s not pool. For example being able to sit outside with a drink in the garden area which could have elevated the experience.

Breakfast was wonderful and the service impeccable.

We stayed in the original portion of the property because we love the old style hotels. The property and location to downtown were excellent. One of our favorite places that we have ever stayed.
