Not Convenient
Free parking and clean room. No elevator and not close to anything. Need to drive and attempt to find parking or rely on hotel shuttle with set times. not very convenient location.

Air conditioning issues.
We stayed at the Juniper hotel for 4 nights. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was that it had air conditioning. When we booked the hotel in March, we requested a King room on the ground floor. When we got there after 13+ hours of traveling, we were put on the second floor. That was okay but had to lug our heavy suitcases up the stairs as there is no elevator. When we got into our room it was 78 degrees. We adjusted the thermostat down and it never turned on. We asked about getting it fixed and they eventually sent someone that said they had to turn it on remotely. All was okay until we came back the following afternoon to another hot room. We called again and they said they would turn it on again but didn’t. We asked to be moved to another room that the air conditioning was working. They did and the room we moved to was a much lesser room, the views from the balcony were not good and the bathroom was so small that you couldn’t turn around without hitting the door. We stayed in that room because the air conditioning worked but it wasn’t a pleasant room. I just feel like if you’re paying over $700 US per night (even in high season) the room would’ve been much better. There also was once machine and you had to go the the on site restaurant to get ice. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel especially during the hotter months of the summer. It wasn’t worth the money.

dated hotel
Not updated at all. Free shuttle they offer only holds 4 people therefore it isn’t helpful at all. No elevator makes it hard to maneuver. Getting ice for our room was not easy and took several attempts. Not worth $750 a night. Would stay somewhere else more conveniently located with better amenities.

Beware - this hotel has two levels without an elevator - you must carry your own heavy luggage up many steps. They also do not ice available for your room unless you hike to the restaurant with an uninsulated small bucket several times a day, and only available during restaurant open serving hours - extremely inconvenient. There is also a surprise resort fee, for use of only a small acrylic hot tub. Location is OK on edge of town and hotel views are great, otherwise chose elsewhere for a stay in Banff that is more customer centric

Good location/No elevator
Good location, a bit outside Banff but they offer E-bikes for free up to 3 hrs to get around and free shuttle that we used to get into Banff. Liked the hot tub after a long day hiking. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. No elevator so be prepared. Lost power and no generator due to laws and location of hotel being in the forest.
