Clean, new hotel in a great location

This was a last minute booking after I checked into Residence 110 and discovered that it was so bad I couldn't stay there. The Scenic Hotel, in contrast was fabulous. The front desk staff were very courteous and friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable, although the way the shower is set up is not very practical and it's hard to take a shower without water getting on the floor. However, there was plenty of hot water and overall I really enjoyed staying 4 nights here. There's a pool on the rooftop which looked pretty nice, although I didnt use it. Location is fabulous--next to the Old Market and minutes to the night market and Riverside walk. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel, book it!

We loved everything about our stay at The Scenic. The location is fabulous for all sights and the bed is probably the comfiest we have slept in, in Cambodia. The pool was an added bonus! It’s a shame there isn’t a bar to enjoy the roof top terrace. Maybe a vending machine may be a good idea! We did pay to have a room with a balcony, I’m not sure if I would bother again as there was no table or chairs to relax on. The tv with free channels was a bonus. The hotel staff were exceptional, a special thank you to Bopea and Panha on Reception. What an asset to the hotel you both are! Everything was just perfect, especially the restaurant recommendation for Romduol Khmer Restaurant which was fantastic! Thank you to everyone at The Scenic

I recommend the hotel.

Exceptional hotel. I would like to especially mention Bopea and his colleague who provided me with exceptional service.
Overall, all the staff were very friendly.
I felt very welcomed and well treated.
New hotel and just a step away from the river and night market, I recommend it.
Rooftop with a pool, great.
Clean room, and with a bathtub.

Very nice hotel

Magnificent, very well-maintained hotel.
We spent two nights at this hotel in March and were very satisfied.
Check-in was quick. Room 104 is very spacious and has everything you need. There's a mini-fridge, a safe, and the Wi-Fi and air conditioning work very well.
Everything was spotless, and you can even open a door leading to a small balcony, but the view is of a poor neighborhood, so it’s not very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside is that you can't have breakfast at the hotel.
There's also a lovely little terrace and a rooftop pool. It's the perfect place to end the day admiring the sunset.
As for the staff, they are fantastic. They are always smiling and incredibly helpful. They gave us excellent recommendations when we needed them.
A big thank you to the whole team—congratulations on your excellent work. I definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers.

CAN DO BETTER

These comments are at a loss because they do not diverge from previous ones but obviously nothing changes.
The comfort of the room is of good quality although a bathtub in which it is almost impossible to shower is inappropriate in this type of establishment. Also a sink outside the room is somewhat incongruous.
On the 12th floor an infinity pool that could be extraordinary for the little that we can have deckchairs gold only 2 unfortunate deckchairs are available and on the other side high and coffee tables that no one has the use since no bar available in the hotel.
So a very attractive price last which hides real shortcomings.
