Cozy hotel in the city centre.
A beautiful hotel in the centre of Aqaba. Comfortable location, clean rooms, friendly and responsive staff. Good food. She stayed in it three times. Very pleased. Thank you all the staff for their hospitality.

Disappointing Experience – Theft from the Hotel’s Luggage Room
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience.
I arrived at the hotel before the official check-in time, so my room was not yet available. That was completely understandable, so I left my luggage in the hotel’s designated luggage room at the reception and went out for breakfast.
When I returned about an hour later, I found my bag had been opened. After checking my belongings, I immediately realized that my AirPods had been stolen. Thankfully, they were the only valuable item in my luggage.
I reported the incident to the reception and hotel security immediately. Unfortunately, their response was extremely disappointing. I was told that they were not responsible because the security cameras did not cover the entire luggage room, and my bag happened to be outside the camera’s field of view even though it was inside the hotel’s own luggage storage area.
After speaking with several employees and managers, the final response I received was essentially, “There is nothing we can do. Go to the police if you want.” The situation was handled with a complete lack of concern or empathy.
I went to the local police station, filed a report, and provided all the necessary information. The police were professional, helpful, and acted quickly. Within a few hours, they tracked the location of my AirPods, identified the thief as one of the guests who had already checked out, recovered my property, and returned it to me.
Ironically, the police showed far more care and professionalism than the hotel itself. The hotel never followed up to ask whether my belongings had been recovered, never apologized, and, from my perspective, did not cooperate with the police when they came to the hotel.
While I am grateful to the local police for their outstanding work, I cannot recommend a hotel that fails to provide a secure luggage storage area and responds so indifferently when a guest’s belongings are stolen. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves both its security measures and the way it treats guests in situations like this.

Shockingly poor experience and major cleanliness lapses mina hotel.
My stay at Mina Hotel was deeply disappointing and, frankly, concerning. Despite checking in late at 3:00 AM, the room I was assigned was clearly unprepared and unacceptable.
Room Condition and Cleanliness Failure
Upon entering the room, I was immediately hit by a foul smell. The room was visibly old, poorly maintained, and felt far from safe. Essential amenities were missing. there were no bath towels and no dental kit.
The most shocking discovery, however, was finding the previous guest's room key card inside a drawer. This is definitive proof that the room was not properly cleaned or sanitized between guests. This lapse in basic cleaning standards and security is entirely unacceptable and raised serious doubts about the overall hygiene of the hotel. I have attached images to show the poor state of the room and the evidence of the lack of cleaning.
Inconsistent and Rude Staff Service
Given the late check-in and the unacceptable condition of the room, I requested a modest late check-out until 1:00 PM the following morning. The interaction with the front desk staff was appalling.
A male staff member immediately and rudely stated, "we don't provide a late check-out here," despite my explanation of the late arrival.
A lady then intervened and asked, "what do you want," in a highly disrespectful tone. She then contradicted the first employee by stating that a late check-out, even for one hour, would incur an extra charge.
The inconsistency in policy and the shockingly rude customer service—particularly from the person identified as the manager—shows a severe lack of professionalism and understanding of guest relations. A manager should set the standard for hospitality, not dismiss and contradict guests.
The Mina Hotel desperately needs a complete overhaul of its management, staff training, and cleaning protocols. The lack of cleanliness, missing amenities, outdated facilities, and truly terrible customer service make this hotel not only a bad choice but, given the evidence of uncleaned rooms, potentially unsafe. I strongly advise against staying here.

Pleased with our choice
We only spent one night here but Mina had everything we wanted: a good location with a view of the sea, a decent sized balcony, comfortable beds and a good breakfast with a good choice of things to eat. I would certainly recommend it to other travellers.

Bad Stay at Hotel
Cleanliness in the hotel is very poor
The bathroom is not cleaned, even though they were asked to do so more than once.
The garbage bags in the bathroom are not removed.
We received the rooms at the hotel and the trash was full in the bathroom
Breakfast is simple, but I noticed a lack of interest in the topic
Clean the tables after finishing the meal and place eating utensils on them
Like a fork and knife...
The only good thing about the hotel was that the room had a view.
