Good quality hotel in a great location
This was a very conveniently located hotel a few easy subway stations away from Sapporo Station. Exit 3 of the Nakajima-Koen stop is the most accessible to the hotel (it was as if the exit was built just for the hotel!), however be warned that there isn’t a lift at this exit (just escalators) in case you have large suitcases to contend with. We got a great twin room on the 8th floor with fab views of the park, still we needed to move the two arm chairs and coffee table around to fit both our suitcases comfortably. To be fair it was already quite a large room for Japan standards but we just wanted to move around more comfortably. Breakfast options were either the buffet on the ground floor, or the Japanese set on the 11th floor. They had takeaway coffee/tea at the breakfast area, so we filled up our thermos for our day out a couple of times (very useful as you’re wandering around outside in -10c weather). As we stayed for 5 nights we had a bit of both. There is a gift store as well as a cake shop in the hotel. Also a postbox that you can drop your postcards in. Restaurant wise, we found the immediate surroundings a little scarce on eateries (also because we were there over the new year period, and many places were closed) but jumping onto the subway to get to Susukino or Odori will set you up for a huge variety of restaurants. Overall, it was a nice stay. I would have given it 5 stars if the rooms were a little more updated. There was a sense of stale, old school formality about it (perhaps great for some but I prefer a more modern, young feel).

Dog Friendly Room Impressions
We had the opportunity to use the dog friendly room. The staff were kind and friendly to my family with dogs. At this hotel, the food was room service because I couldn't leave the room without the dog, but it was also fun to spend time with my dog. It's such a lovely hotel, but I'm very sad to hear that it's going to close in February 2027.

Staff at the breakfast venue
The facility is old, but it is a long-established hotel, so I was looking forward to staying there.
The breakfast itself was delicious, but we had to ask the same female staff in charge of the breakfast venue four times in total to lower the bon for four family members. I was surprised, to be honest, because I had never made such a request in a hotel of this level.
Even if they rebuilt it, I don't think they would revisit it.

Brilliant hotel in the heart of Sapporo..
The hotel is massive in structure and is very conveniently located just beside the metro station. The central area of Susukino and Odori are all within walking distances.
But what stood out for me was the view of Sapporo park from our room- simply beautiful !
The food is also very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast!

The best hotel in terms of service location
I stayed in a spa home room for four nights.
I would say that choosing this room was a really great trip
We had a soothing Banwa set meal for breakfast at the restaurant the first morning.
Of course, the view was good on the top floor, and the steamed vegetables were especially delicious and calm.
I was so active in sightseeing after this that I didn't have the energy to go out when I got back to the hotel, so I had my evening lounge hors d'oeuvres and drinks room serviced, and after a relaxing bath, it was great to relax
Breakfast and cocktails are free tickets and room service is rare and I think it is the best service
Travel is also a physical challenge, so it is very important to be able to relax in a hotel.
The executive room was worth staying in.
It is very pleasant to take a walk in Nakajima Park every morning, and the location is great because the station is directly connected
Amenities are good, slippers are fluffy, and one-piece pyjama fabric is good. The towel was also clean, the room was good and I of the habit of cleanliness was able to spend it comfortably
I'm very sorry to know that it's February 2027 and we're closed. Otherwise, I'd have just made it my regular lodging.
I'd love to come back before closing.
