We stayed here as a family
However, there were a few moments afterward that surprised us. When bringing our luggage to the room, a female staff member told us, “I can’t carry any more, so please take the rest.” As we were traveling with a child and also had a pregnant family member, we would have appreciated a bit more consideration.
Dinner was excellent overall—the seafood was especially delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the spiny lobster sashimi and abalone. However, when we were deciding whether to order an additional grilled spiny lobster, a staff member said they would “check,” but never came back with an answer. To our surprise, the dish was then added without our clear confirmation.
We have stayed here before, and the attentive service we experienced previously left a strong positive impression, which made this visit somewhat disappointing. Overall, it is a lovely ryokan, but we would need to think carefully before choosing it again for a future trip.

I was very satisfied with the abalone and spiny lobster for dinner, and the dried horse mackerel and spiny lobster miso soup for breakfast ^_^
The hot spring is a sodium-calcium sulfate-chloride spring, and what's particularly noteworthy is that it is an alkaline spring with a pH of 9.5, which made my skin smooth!
The facilities felt a little old, but they were clean and there were no problems.
The staff were very friendly, and I had a fun and comfortable stay ^_^
I also bought a whole spider crab caught at Heda Port to take home and enjoy at home
I would like to go to this inn again.

I think it's generally good.
The large public bath is not that big. There is one indoor bath and one outdoor bath, which I personally felt was small. There is a bathtub for women, so I used that to bathe in the outdoor bath in the morning. I guess it's because it can be seen from outside. The private bath is a normal large bath and you can't see anything at night. It's not an outdoor bath, so I didn't think I needed to take a bath. It might be good for families with small children or the elderly.
You go down a very steep path that looks like a trail to the sea. I was able to relax on a walk along the sea. The staff are also kind. I might visit again if I have the chance.
