Memorable Okinawa trip in August 2026
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the male colleague with glasses at the front desk who checked us in – his service was excellent.
Also, I want to say thank you ‘Yohei ‘ for taking such good care of me and my daughter these past few days in the breakfast period. He always has a smile on his face, and his service is excellent! Thank you all the staffs in The Riverside Cafe and Dining.
Despite the typhoon on 25-26 Aug. We keeping us inside the hotel, all the staffs were incredibly caring and thoughtful, which made our stay truly comfortable.
Definitely will come back again.

bring your own towel
As I was staying one night only in Naha in between flights in and out I booked the Doubletree using up some Hilton Honors points. I was staying in what is called a „premium twin room“. In my view it had sufficient space for one person but I am not too sure if it would be big enough for two, even considering Japanese standards. The bed was a tat too soft for my liking but had comfy pillows. As there were only two small hand towels I requested a bigger towel at reception before going out for dinner. I was assured that housekeeping would supply a large towel but when I came back to the hotel nothing had changed and so I made do with the bathrobe. Funny enough there was only one bathrobe but two pyjamas (?). Breakfast would be ¥3.200 but at the end I decided against as there were people queuing in the lobby. Also, whenever going up or down, it would be minutes before the next elevator appeared. Sure, it was a busy holiday weekend but it left me with the impression that at full capacity this hotel isn't able to operate. The the good thing is the location next to Asahibashi Station, which means you'll be at the airport in about 30 minutes using the monorail.

This is hands down the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Okinawa. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from the airport and right next to the subway station, it’s incredibly easy to access. Plus, its proximity to the city center allowed us to walk to Kokusai Street in just 15 minutes—perfect for enjoying delicious food and great shopping!
The breakfast was amazing, featuring unlimited hot pot and ice cream, all of the highest quality. But what really stood out was the outstanding service. During check-in, there was a group of middle school students—boys taking the stairs while girls waited for the elevator. The hotel staff efficiently prioritized guests for elevator access, handling the situation with professionalism and courtesy.
We loved our stay so much that we’ll definitely be back here next time we visit Naha! Highly recommended!

Convenient access near the station! Perfect for sightseeing in Naha
It was convenient to check in as soon as I arrived close to the station, just a short distance from Naha airport. I was happy with the warm cookies we received at the front desk. The rooms were calm and quiet. The breakfast buffet uses a lot of Okinawan ingredients and offers a wide variety. The location was convenient for both sightseeing and business, making it the perfect base for your stay in Naha.
