Stayed here for one night. Everything beyond expectations. Dinner and breakfast that was part of the stay was delicious!!

If you are looking for a Showa taste at a low price

First of all, it's cheap. I honestly didn't expect it, given the price, but the meal was satisfying with dinner breakfast. The hot springs had two types of hot water, warm water (no heating etc.) and boiling water (heating / filtering), and they were the type to enjoy the benefits alternately. On the day of the event, I was able to fully enjoy both the lukewarm water and the subsequent warm water due to the unseasonably hot weather. On the day, there was only one foreign couple who probably didn't know "how to bathe", and it was a shame that towels were left in the changing room in a mess, but it was well acceptable. The Inn itself is not flatteringly beautiful, but it is the best inn as long as you enjoy the atmosphere and bath of the Showa era, such as the room entrance is open. The husband and his wife are likable people who seem to have a good personality. There are repeats.

feeling japanese traditional style !!

I`ve stayed Daikokuya many times.
Because I feel so relaxed as if I had been in old Japan in Daikokuya.There is no toilet and bath in the room. Around Daikokuya, there is nothing to do but diving into hotspring. Still, Daikokuya keeps making me feel good.
I don`t know why.
It might be greens and mountains around here, or murmur of the river in front of the room. It also might be the staff who is always welcoming me with kindness and smile.
Anyway, you can have an amazing experience here with good price.

Это достаточно старый отель, но природа вокруг превосходна! Я испытывала некоторые неудобства, потому что душ и туалет общие на этаже, но это присуще всем классическим японским отелям. Во всяком случае, хозяева были очень добры и гостеприимны. А ужин и завтрак выше всяких похвал! Просто потрясающе
