Immaculately clean, cosy small hosgel

I really enjoyed my time here, there is a nice common area/ kitchen and the staff are always happy to give you tips on attractions in the area. My capsule was comfortable and kept clean. While a basic hostel it has a nice feel to it and I can recommend it to anyone visiting

Fantastic Hostel

This is easily one of, if not the best, hostel I have stayed in. The staff were extremely helpful and the facilities were all clean. The location was also excellent, making it convenient to explore Kyoto.

Adorable hostel, steep climb

The hostel is great, very clean and cute; however, the climb to the women’s dorm is very steep. If you have difficulty with steps or a lot of luggage, this is not the hostel for you. It is very close to night life, though, so if you’re backpacking it’s perfect.

Perfect location, great management

This hostel (and please keep in mind it is a hostel, NOT A HOTEL), is situated only a few hundred meters from the Nishiki food market, right in the center of Kyoto and very close to one of the main subway stations.
It's also within easy walking distance of a small local "sento" bathhouse and there is even a great Irish pub in the same building (no, noise is not a problem).
As you would expect close to the food market, there are many great resaturants nearby as well.
The hostel management is super friendly and knowledgeable, all staff speak good English.
The interior of the hostel itself is stylish and above all very clean, which to me is more important than the style itself. Wi-Fi is available!

Wonderful stay

Such an incredible spot! Perfect location and amazing service. I will definitely be coming back! The owner & his family are so lovely, warm & welcoming. The beds are clean and there is ample space & light and the facilities are 10/10! So close to wonderful shops in Kyoto. I’d recommend hiring a bike too
