A hot spring inn full of hospitality right next to Togetsu-kyo Bridge

A hot spring inn located right next to Arashiyama Togetsu-kyo Bridge. It is small in size and has an at-home atmosphere. The Japanese-style building with tatami mats where you can take off your shoes at the entrance and spend time in the facility with your socks and bare feet is also pleasant.
The food is substantial, both dinner and breakfast, and the taste is very good. Dinner is served with delicious dishes that make use of meat and vegetables, and I am happy to taste meat and eel little by little. The fruit parfait for dessert was very good on a custard basis. The onigiri is served as a late-night snack, and you can choose from three types of fish for breakfast.
There is a public bath and an open-air observation bath. That is, it is slightly more compact, there are three or four washing places, and the water pressure is slightly weaker. However, perhaps because there were not many guests, it was comfortable to use at night and in the morning without being crowded. It was a good inn where I could spend my time calmly.

The food you get in the room is very delicious! The Togetsu Bridge is also tasteful!

Dinner was room-based and all the menus were elaborate and very good. It was good to see a wide variety of sashimi, grilled and boiled foods. The dessert parfait was also delicious. You can slow-bake the eel yourself. Late-night rice balls, rice and red broth were also delicious. We also made our own tofu for breakfast and the freshly baked fish was delicious. Welcome matcha and bracken mochi, as well as yuzu drinks in the bathroom, were also good.
The room isn't that big, but it's enough. Above all, the Togetsu-kyo Bridge has a taste. There is origami and a guide on how to fold it, and I'm happy about that.
The bathrooms are gender-swappable, with two separate baths, the inner bath (with a small open-air bath) and the observation open-air bath, and the changing areas are different, so you need to change your clothes once to move. There are also only three washrooms, one observational open-air bath, and the tub is far from large. The hot spring felt small for the number of rooms.

Such an amazing experience

Such an amazing experience. Lovely room, not fancy, just serene. Be sure to admit if you are comfortable in a "outdoor camping kind of mattress". I wasn't, but every night we laughed about it. It may be possible that they have "normal beds/mattresses. The wonderful meal served in our room, the absolutely amazing Japanese Breakfast in the dining room...and the onsen was perfect. Loved being across the river and so close to the wonderful town center. Be sure to take a leisurely boat ride....

Fantastic Onsen in the heart of Arashiyamana. Across the bridge so a bit quieter than the Main Street, wonderful and plentiful meals and service.

The tradition of Japanese hospitality on the outskirts of Kyoto

Excellently located hotel with most of the rooms overlooking the historic bridge and river. Excellent welcome, hospitality without equal. Common onsen quite small, probably not expected stays longer than 20/30 min. Private outdoor onsen small. To experience the sensations are absolutely fine. Dinner aesthetically superb, the tastes are excellent and adherent to tradition. Sleeping on futons is an experience you cannot miss in Japan. Yakuta available and slippers to run freely throughout the Ryokan. Really busy. Bravo!
