Staff were so nice. When I asked the recommendation for the restaurant which has live music, they gave me nice suggestions. Nice clean room!

I rented the Japanese room. It was really comfortable and we'll equipped (chair, desk beside futon). AC obviously available. Other commodities are available in the building and it's easy to park if you rent a car as I did.

We stayed 5 nights at Jouya and we loved it! Everything was clean and calm we could really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of ISHIGAKI. There are also several diving centers around the hotel and during the night we could see stars on night sky on the rooftop. Definitely recommend for people that want an authentic island experience.

It's close to Kabira Bay, so it's easy to plan your trip.

It's away from the downtown area and very close to Kabira Bay, so you can visit most of the western part of Ishigaki Island before it gets crowded.
The landlady is very cheerful and energetic, so I felt energized during my stay.
There are restaurants nearby, but you must make a reservation.
There is also a shop nearby where you can do your shopping with an older woman working the counter, but the variety is not very wide.
This time we stayed without meals, so we provided our own meals, but it might be a good idea to include meals.
The inn was well-cleaned from the hallways to the rooms.
