We're going back!!
Our stay at Luna Sea Inn was absolutely unforgettable, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the incredible staff, especially Martha, who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. She was instrumental in organizing our transportation around the island, and my family couldn’t stop singing her praises throughout our stay.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had breathtaking views of the ocean from every angle. Waking up to the sound of the waves was the perfect start to each day. While the beach is small, it’s easily accessible and we had a blast using the paddle boards. We also really appreciated having a mini-fridge in the room, especially for storing formula bottles—such a thoughtful touch for families. The hotel is incredibly kid-friendly, which made it an ideal spot for our family.
One of the best features of Luna Sea Inn was the bar and restaurant on-site. It was so convenient to have a place to relax with amazing food and drinks without having to leave the property. The waitstaff and bartenders were exceptional—10/10. It was wonderful to see the same friendly faces each day, and getting to know the staff personally made our stay even more special. I truly wish I had taken more pictures with them, as they were such an important part of our experience.
Now, let me talk about our wedding! The views for our ceremony were unbelievable, and the hotel took care of every detail, from food and drinks to flowers, decorations, and even MC’ing the event. They arranged for hair and makeup as well. I cannot recommend getting a flower crown enough—such a beautiful addition! Having our wedding on-site was the best decision; knowing that the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception were all taken care of in one place made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready with my bridal party, and my bouquet was simply gorgeous.
If you’re considering Luna Sea Inn for a wedding, I wholeheartedly recommend it—especially for a small group. For larger groups, I would suggest keeping the party size to about 8-10 people. We had a group of 18+, and while everything was still wonderful, I feel that a smaller group would have made the experience even smoother, especially with the size of the restaurant and accommodations. For our next visit, we plan to return with a smaller group of 6.
All in all, Luna Sea Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff’s kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for their guests were a huge part of what made our stay so amazing. We are already looking forward to our next trip and can’t wait to return—without the kids next time! Luna Sea Inn has definitely earned a special place in our hearts, and I’m so happy to have found this gem in Jamaica.

The hotel is a mixed blessing
The building had been recently painted and they were continuing to work on some of these basic maintenance tasks. It appeared that they had recently acquired some new lawn furniture, but the porch furniture for the rooms was old and not in the best shape. The pool, which is more of a sitting and drinking pool, was not working. If you want to lie on the beach and go swimming in the sea, this is probably not the place for you. The small beach is beside the hotel and not private. You also need a car to see most places, though the hotel will arrange a car or van at your own expense.
The food continues to be excellent and we had many delicious meals there. Service is sometimes slow, but if you are on vacation and not pressed to go off site, the wait can be pleasant as there is water alongside the dining room. They also seem to do well with special events, weddings and group dinners, with nice decorations and good service.
In sum, this is a decent place if you want to just hang out and decompress. If you want to be near lots of action or crave major beach time, this is probably not the place for you
