I would give about 3.5 stars. Nothing great about this place. There are better options for the price they charge. Never met the owner or any service person during the 2 nights stay (of course we didn't choose the breakfast option). The location is just few minutes away from the harbour

Least good experience

Arrival between 6 and 8 pm: limited to 8 pm by hostess. Address hard to find, narrow parking spaces, cash € 15, - and pay before we got the key.
Welcome was: cash, hand in key there, gone so late, upstairs is the room, day. No breakfast: so B&B without &B...
Room sufficiently large, Small shower. Little view: rear room. Have seen so many nicer, cordial, Irish B&Bs. Search on...

Small, small hotel in Galway.

Morning sun and water views, but busy road outside. Private parking spaces on the farm. Relatively central, a few minutes walk to the center to be able to have breakfast.
Hard beds. Clean and nice.

Disappointed

The location of this hotel is just perfect since a 10 minute walk will take you into the city Centre. The view from our balcony was great as well.
Our disappointment was that as soon as we entered our room we noticed the lack of cleanliness. In the corner behind the dustbin there was some teabag wrapping and underneath the bed there was a small plastic box. When walking barefooted the floor was really sticky.
When after our first night we left the towels on the floor to be changed due to the smell they had , in the evening when we went back we found the same towels aired on the chairs in our room. We had to use them again although they had a terrible smell When I talked to the owner about it he wasn’t very nice.
It’s a pity to experience such disappointment when this hotel is in an excellent location

This is the meanest accommodation in which I have ever stayed

I have traveled Mexico to Rome, Madrid to Mumbai & never experienced such meanness. This is advertised as B & B with free parking. There is only one B - no breakfast whatsoever- & the ‘free’ parking is €15.00 per night. There is a kettle in room & tea - otherwise NOT a biscuit. The shower is what I can only describe as pathetic. There is no bar in shower & no rubber bathmat. I asked for bath mat - as I almost fell on first morning. & hit my arm as no bar in shower & no rubber mat. I asked for an extra towel- as I have long hair- none such was forthcoming. The overall atmosphere was one of meanness - Frances is going to make the last penny from every guest & I really would seek alternative accommodation in Galway.
