Astounding hostel in class town loaded with history and craic.

Oh my goodness this Drogheda and Peggy Mooores is quite simply astounding. I was blessed to get the girls dorm all to myself. Open windows, hot showers, a double bunk on crisp white sheets and covers. The friendliest staff who are a good laugh. Great pub and multi coloured communal balcony. Top knotch stuff. Gentile but wild enough.

A great find

Found this pub while we were looking for some pub grub. Delighted we found it. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, staff on the ball with taking orders, amazing toasties, real local pub with a mix of ages which I think is a great sign, great background music, lots of cubby holes for friends to have a Prosecco or cocktail or a pint and a cheeseboard. We will definitely be back.

Modern clean hostel

Great place to spend my last night in Ireland. Modern, clean place with wide, comfy beds and privacy curtains. I was exhausted so was glad for such a nice place to stay.
I didn’t notice a kitchen in the hostel. Not an issue for me as I was just looking for a bed but may be if you’re looking to prep your own food.
Would definitely return to spend more time in the pub.

Pub, Food, AND HOSTEL, all in one!

Great stay, wonderful people! Glen and Oscar, we had a great time, the hostel and the bar were fabulous! Didn’t eat here, but saw the food coming out, we should have! Stayed one night, realized how fun the town was and decided to another. Coming to Drogheda, STAY HERE!
