Great Irish Place Owned by Irish Speakers

Clean and perfect repair. Helena and Patrick are friendly and, also, Irish speakers. Great in town location. Good parking but get door code before you arrive. Outfitted for cooking if you want. Very nice.

Unscrupulous Business Practices

Very poor behavior. I had to cancel my trip a couple of weeks before I was to stay there due to my son's illness. They refused to accept a cancellation with Booking.com, and I am out 800 Euros. I can picture a response to this review wherein they cite Booking.com as to blame, but they at An Capall Dubh had discretion to accept a cancellation and they did not. Helena, one of the managers, said they had an across-the-board, no-exceptions, one-month cancellation policy (both with booking.com clients and anyone else), which is hard to believe. Either she wasn't telling the truth, or no one should ever make reservations there. And then they said they were going to rent my room out on my reserved days in order to be able to refund me some of the money. This led to a very odd text message exchange with Patrick, another of the managers, in which two-thirds of my stay was supposed to yield a refund of about 40% of what I had paid. He wanted my credit card number, which makes zero sense to me. I told him that my credit card company said that this would be a very bad idea. I gave him my Paypal identifiers, and he refused, would only accept my credit card number for the 40% refund. Paypal is widely used in Ireland and giving my credit card number to a business in a foreign country I don't have trusting feelings towards would be idiotic. Their response (if they respond to this) that my misfortune comes from booking.com policies will be a fiction.

Convenience in downtown Dingle

Great location in the center with private parking in a quiet area.
Large apartment, comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Great place to stay. Good location. Cute!

We would all stay at this B&B again. We arrived after 2100 hrs and the instructions to find the place were spot on (not their fault we had to drive around again).
We stayed in cottage number 4. Gated access and reserved parking are really nice. The cottage was nice. Wood floors and comfortable beds.
The breakfast was really nice. You select the items from the menu the night before and leave the order at the reception desk. Breakfast was very good. And the people (who I am guessing own the place) were very nice. And a good cup of coffee.

Fantastic stay

While working in Dingle i had the pleasure of staying here. Both Pat & Helena were fantastic, so warm and friendly. Accomodation so clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was the best you would get. Thanks for the chats. Would highly recommend and will return again with my family some day
