Relaxed and clean hostel with a lot of young people

Had a great experience at this place! It's right above the river and there are trees all over so it is a relaxing place in the middle of the busy town. Breakfast is included and they had nice choices and all was very tasty.
The place is very clean, they clean every day. You get a key for your locker and a towel, you have to pay 50.000 idr as deposit but you will get it back after checking out.
The Wifi is a little slow tho. I went to a coffeeplace nearby to do my planning, so it's alright.
Overall a good place to be!! Would recommend everyone :)

Best hostel in Ubud! Friendly staff, great atmosphere.

I stayed at WW 4 times over the course of 2 months in Indonesia and absolutely loved it! The hostel is very social with friendly staff and a good selection of guests from all countries. They have a nice communal area where you can relax and meet new people an also quiet corners if you need some time to yourself.
There are 2 dorm rooms with a large amount if beds but the way the rooms are set out make it feel like there are a lot less people in there. The beds are comfy and the shared toilet and shower facilities are nice and clean.
You can book any excursions including mountains, snorkeling and boat trips through the hostel for a cheap price.
They also sell beer cheaper than the mini mart across the road.
Would fully recommend this hostel for anybody looking to meet new people, enjoy the sights of Ubud and relax when needed.

Awesome Little Gem

I absolutely loved my stay here. Ww Backpackers is an awesome little gem tucked into a hidden corner of the amazingly zenful and meditative Ubud. Not your party central, but stil boasts some excellent live music Ubud is a great place to recover from the craziness of Canggu or Seminyak and Ww Backpackers has everything you need to recover. From comfortable beds, clean sheets, and lovely smelling rooms, to delectable free breakfast and staff that are just awesome, Ww Backpackers is your place no matter what the R&R you are looking for.
The staff: can’t say enough about them! From keeping the place clean, to remembering your name from day one, to just going above and beyond such as offering to drive to get local food in the middle of the night two times. They even let me store my stuff there while I took a week long trip to Canggu.
Definitely stay at Ww and you’ll have a lovely time. Other guests were fun and it is easy enough to meet people if you are a solo traveler.

could be better

We stayed in 18(?) bed dorm. Room was cleand and bed comfortable but the smell... i dont know whether its damp/ mold or just because there are that many people in there, anyway very unpleasant. it was hot at night despite AC on. Two toilets and two showers, both clean. Good breakfast (you choose what you want). Water refill and kitchenette. You can get rent a moped. Piece of advice- if you’re booking the sunrise trek with them make sure you get something to eat as the “food” that the company gives is 2slices of stale bread, one hard boiled egg, banana and jam.. We also booked a boat to nusa penida and we were meant to get there by 1pm but the boat was actually departing at 1 so a bit of misinformation.

Would give 3-4 stars if the staff wasnt this rude.

I slept there in this hostel for one nigbt in October.
Everything was fine except the bunk bed, blanket, bed sheet were dusty like they never washed it before. I rated this place for 7.5/10 with the comment that everything is worth the price except the bed is quite dusty, then the staff from hostel emailed me to say "thanks for low rate"
So I replied him that I just give fair comment. Other sections such as location, toilet, food, etc. I gave it 4-5 but just the cleanness I had to give 2/5. Even said that I would recommended my friends to try the place but now I have to change my mind about that. The staff replied me "7.5 is the lowest score I have got and thanks for not tell friends to come"
Bali is good and also peaceful but this guy is terribly rude and his ego is higher than the cliff in Bali.
There are tons of cheap and good hostels in Ubud. Weight it by yourself how much you want to try this place with this behave. Have a good luck choosing your hostel!
