A PARADISE ON EARTH VIEWS ON OCEAN FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET

PARADISE ON EARTH IN THE ISLAND OF THE GODS. A MAGNIFICENT PLACE, AWAY FROM THE CROWDS OF SOUTH OF BALI. CALM AND TRANQUILLITY. HOTEL ON THE BEACH WITH BEAUTIFUL GARDEN AND SWIMMING POOL. SEA VIEW 180 DEGREES FROM SPECTACULAR SUNRISE TO UNIQUE SUNSET WITH PALM TREES. HOTEL WELL MANAGED. STAFF WONDERFUL AND VERY ATTENTIVE. GOOD BREAKFAST, GOOD FOOD, GOOD MASSAGE IN NICE SPA. SOME ROOMS INCLUDING MINE HAVE BEEN TOTALLY REFURBISHED, WITH A SPLENDID VIEW ON BALI SEA. YOU CAN RENT A SCOOTER CHEAPLY IF YOU WISH TO EXPLORE THE ISLAND. YOU MAY WALK ON THE BEACH (GREY SAND AND STONES) OR THROUGH SMALL ROAD IN FOREST TO OTHER RESTAURANTS.

I loved my stay here! It's a beautiful space and loved waking up here every morning. It's quirky and some parts are a little dated but all it needs a quick repaint. The local staff were all friendly and helpful though I didn't appreciate the way they were treated by one of the expat managers. When dealing with people of a different culture who have different expectations/understanding, patience and compassion are paramount. Especially since the Balinese are such a friendly, heartful group of people to begin with. Otherwise you just ruin any good vibes. If you find yourself frustrated with a Balinese, the issue isn't with them, it's with you.

A gem in the jungle

This resort is simply paradise. That is if you like it quiet, private and love the ocean. If you want to party, I believe it is better to book elsewhere. The moment you set your foot on the premises, you feel the gorgeous energy, even if you do not believe in Feng Shui principles. There is a pool with something like a pool bar, but clearly this place is for restoration of your health and body, and to meditate. The wantan is lovely for yoga, there is a small beauty parlour at the back of one of the houses and a massage temple in the garden. There you have the privilege to get healing massages from two totally different healers. When you stay at #Felicianas, this is definitely a must. :) Ketut in the kitchen caters for nearly every need if you like healthy food, the vegetables and fruit come directly from their own plantation. The pool with a tree of life sign on the bottom has great water, with nearly no chemicals in it. The rooms are very individual in style and size. In the garden there are places to meditate and to relax in the shadows of the big palm trees. Make up a party with your friends, your yoga group or gather your family around you - this is the ideal place. From the airport about 3 hours driving through idyllic jungle roads, crossing the mountains to get to the other side. There are quite a few excursions you can book from there as well as a dolphin trip - the little boats are only a few footsteps away. I was there with a group of friends - just the thing to do. The sunrise is spectactular to watch, bathing in the ocean is ideal in the morning - what a start into the day.

Wow. Just wow. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had the best time here. It was very quiet whilst we were there last night and along with the owners Diethard and Gerlinda (I think, sorry, I'm terrible with names). The pool, the view, the rooms, the food, the gardens, the staff, the massages, the sunrise. Oh wow. Such an unexpected and beautiful night for my wife and I after stopping and checking out a few hotels in the area for the night, we chose Felicianas and we're very glad we did. It's a shame we only had time for one night on the way through to Tulamben. The owners made us feel very welcome and at home. The guests eat together in a family type dining room and although some might find that awkward, we had a lovely chat and shared a few meals with some new friends.
We have been traveling on a middle range budget and although we had a scooter and the opportunity to eat outside of the property, we chose not to as the first lunch was delicious, so we stayed to eat the rest of our meals there and swim in the amazingly gorgeous pool next to the ocean. At night, there was a few micro bat's drinking from the pool whilst we swam in it, very cool experience that reminded us that we were in the tropics and that how clean that pool water must be. No chemicals and very soft water, feels like you barely float in it. Don't ask me how they keep it clean. Amazing. Heaps of wildlife including birds, bugs, bat's, cats and fish. Just a wonderful place to relax and get back to nature in complete comfort.
For whatever reason, very few tourists along the north east coast on this trip. Apparently an active volcano spitting a few ashes is enough for people to cancel their holiday (you people realise this is what an active volcano does, right?)
Anyway, stop whatever you're doing and book a few nights there now. It's stunning. The photos don't lie and the place is simply stunning from every angle.
We paid about 75 AUD for the night in a gorgeous room overlooking the ocean. Tonight we're at tulamben in a 60US a night room that isn't half as nice. Should have stayed at Felicianas another night if you ask us

Felicianas Resort is a little paradise, with beautiful surroundings and clean and nice rooms. There is a very friendly atmosphere and the staff is kind and helpful. The focus on harmony and balance makes the resort a place you will reload and relax, still there is also room for kids, which is nice. We loved the seaview from both rooms and pool, and we liked how meals were prepared and served as if we were guests in someone else's house - very personal. You can use the tap water to brush your teeth which is also really nice! It truly is a hidden gem - but maybe too well hidden, because we were the only guests, which meant that a few things were not up and running, e.g. the pool bar and yoga class. We can absolutely recommend this very unique and beautiful place to both families and couples.
