A perfect location for a get away from it all break
It consists of 5 separate Villas, all with steps leading down to a small beach. The Villa was a perfect size for our family of four (two teens) with a well fitted kitchen and a balcony that overlooked the small beach and the sea.
When we arrived we were met by Freddie himself and he is the perfect host, he would come to see us at breakfast and was on hand to recommend trips and travel around the island.
The onsite office/kitchen offers a nice freshly cooked breakfast and a small store where you can buy essentials for your stay - snacks, drinks etc. If you need anything else, there is a shopping list in each room that allows you to order them.
Lunch and dinner can be ordered and is bought in from another site.
The beach is small, but at high tide you can step straight into the sea from the steps and snorkel - there is an abundance of colourful fish for you to view. Turtles have been spotted but sadly we didn't see them.
At low tide, there are rock pools which contain different small marine life.
The staff at Freddie's Villa's were very friendly and welcoming and were always on hand to help out.
Freddie arranged a tuktuk to take us around the island, which included a trip to the volcano, a waterfall and to find places to eat in Sabang. If you are able, request the services of Mr Happy - a very friendly and knowledgeable TukTuk driver who was our guide for most of our stay.
If you are looking for a quiet 'escape from it all' location with beautiful views and a short drive to places to eat, we can highly recommend Freddie's Villas.

Freddies Villa: Great place to stay!!
What made our stay extra enjoyable was the involvement of Freddie and his team. They were always ready to help – friendly, quick and with a smile. Whether it was arranging a scooter or snorkel set, or just a question in between, everything was arranged smoothly. The breakfast and delivery service were also super relaxed and made it extra comfortable.
Freddie is a warm and sincere host, and it is nice to see him working with (just!!!) people from the local community. This is a huge boost for Pulau Weh!

Pulau weh
There is a Laundry Service and a small mini market, and highly recommended, the possibility to rent the scooter as the structure is not very close to the various points of interest.
