Good place to overnight and launch local trips and hikes.

Good calm place to overnight in Moni while exploring Kelimutu. Bill, the owner, helps if you want to hike the Kelimutu lakes, visit Jopu traditional family house or go to coffee plantation Kebun Kopi Tani near Wologai folk village.
This is a place for bacpackers rather than tourists with a suitcase.

OK stay for 1 night

A very basic place.
Host is very friendly.
The room is basic, especially the open connections to the outside (not everywhere windows) is sometimes fresh/cold.
Sanitary is basic and not super clean.
Outdoor area is nice, however walking route with many stairs
The location is a bit outside the town so a big walk is necessary to a restaurant.

Quiet and beautifully situated bed & breakfast.

We stayed here, 2 couples, for one night to visit Kelimutu the next morning around 4am. The host Billy is a friendly man who was very helpful in taking our luggage to the lower rooms. The spacious room and bathroom were clean and the beds were fine. In front of the rooms is a narrow passage which is considered a terrace. Nothing wrong with that in itself, especially because of the beautiful view and the flowing river below. The only thing that was very disappointing after we came back from Kelimutu was the breakfast room located on the street side. Consisting of two filthy uneven tables pushed together. Only two chairs and two uncomfortable stools. Before having breakfast we used a load of tissues ourselves to first clean the dirty tables, which apparently was not appreciated by Billy's wife. Got the impression that she had little interest in it. But it is fair to say that her coffee and omelette tasted great.
