Absolute heaven!
We spent almost a week at Klumpu as two families and honestly couldn’t have wished for a better start to our three week Bali trip. The whole place is tranquil and beautifully peaceful, yet the beach, shops and restaurants are an easy stroll away.
Our two-storey villas were comfortable, quiet and exceptionally well equipped, even down to sunscreen, mosquito spray and after-sun being provided. One evening, the entire property was treated to prevent mosquitoes (something we didn’t see anywhere else in Bali) and it genuinely made a difference. We had hardly any bites during our stay, which made relaxing around the pool so much more enjoyable.
The daily afternoon tea by the pool was another lovely touch, and the attention to detail throughout the resort was exceptional.
But what really makes Klumpu special is the staff. They were quite simply the warmest, friendliest and most genuinely helpful team we’ve ever encountered. Every interaction came with a smile.
And then there’s the food. Absolutely sensational. Some of the best we ate anywhere in Bali, with breakfasts that were not only spectacularly beautiful but genuinely delicious. Our teenagers couldn’t stop photographing them!
Add a lovely pool, peaceful surroundings and those thoughtful little touches throughout, and Klumpu is somewhere we’d wholeheartedly recommend…and would return to in a heartbeat. Thank you Klumpu!

Wonderful stay in Sanur
A wonderful secluded hotel but still withing walking distance of Sanur beach, shops and restaurants.
The rooms/ bungalows look lovely and are spacious and clean. The garden and pool are beautifully designed and a great place to relax. Staff is lovely and helpful.

A beautiful little treasure in Sanur
Wow, wow, wow—what a gorgeous little surprise package this hotel is! Small, quaint and set among beautiful traditional lumbungs and lush gardens.
I stayed in a Double Lumbung, which was incredibly spacious, with a desk, comfortable lounge area, small kitchenette and a large bathroom filled with beautiful amenities.
The attention to detail absolutely blew me away—from the chocolates and water delivered each evening to the afternoon tea and beautiful breakfast delivered every morning.
Even the shower room provided after checkout was fabulous, and the little farewell gift of bamboo straws was such a thoughtful touch and a lovely reminder of my stay.
The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and attentive—a real credit to this beautifully run resort.
I can’t wait to return and stay longer next time!

Beautiful villa surrounded by garden
Gorgeous accomdation in a quiet back street away from the huddle and bustle cf the street, but within walking distance of everything you need. The staff were generous thoughtful and warm and made our stay so enjoyable. The pool and garden is beautiful and the breaksfat in the morning a delight. We would be very happy to stay here again.

A hidden gem in Sanur
We’ve just returned from a wonderful five-night stay at Klumpu, and it exceeded our expectations in every way.
The location is perfect—peacefully tucked away from the main street, yet only a few minutes’ walk from the boardwalk and the beach.
We visited as a family with two teenagers and stayed in the Loft Villa. At first, the ladder to the loft took a little getting used to, but they quickly got the hang of it and absolutely loved having their own space. The villa is beautifully decorated, spacious, and feels wonderfully luxurious. The pool has such an intimate feel that it almost feels like your own private oasis. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded, and we often felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves.
The little touches throughout the day really made our stay special—from afternoon tea and cake to delicious chocolates left on our bed each evening. Every member of staff was exceptional, anticipating our every need with genuine warmth and effortless hospitality.
Breakfast was outstanding. My children couldn’t get enough of the smoothie bowl, while I found myself ordering the continental breakfast with eggs every morning because it was simply that good.
To round off a perfect stay, the hotel arranged a complimentary airport transfer with what must have been the friendliest driver on the island.
