Gazebo street restaurant

New restaurant at front of Gazebo. Wok & Beans, great local dishes at very cheap price. Also vegetarian meals. Cheapest Bintang and very cold. Will be back.

Tired and old but what we expected

We looked on reviews so we knew what we were in for. This was just for one night so it was fine. Would not choose to stay longer. Pool had tiles missing, rooms musty and not quite clean. The lady was friendly and gardens were pretty. Well located being on beach front.
Needs a major makeover.

Very dated resort. No kettle in room and when I asked for one I was told I needed to upgrade my room.
Nice grounds and very central to everything.

Dirty and no staff available.

I had to leave this hotel hours after checking in. I felt very unsafe and the room was dirty.
I was approached by a man at the pool who made me feel very uncomfortable, I returned to my room and the wifi didn’t work in there, so was unable to let anyone know the situation.
When I checked in the lady at reception was eating her lunch so handed me the key and I had to find the villa myself as there was a lack of any other staff present.
So when I felt unsafe I was unable to find anyone to report it to. I was also afraid to leave my room in the event the other patron saw which room I was in. I thought I may as well settle in for the night but there wasn’t even a teabag to make a drink with.
At this point I had a chair against my door so decided it was best to find another hotel. At reception there was no one around so I left the key on the desk. By the time I got to the main road there was suddenly 3 staff members yelling at me to return for payment.
I was so I uncomfortable in this room that I had not even unlocked my suitcase, I have solo travelled for many years. This is the first time I have ever left a hotel.

Worse hotel we have ever stayed in, so old, room LEAKED during a rain storm that night, staff were quite rude when I checked in, rooms are so old and so tired, I would not let my dog sleep in them.
My daughter compared it to a Local Hospital in Bali - which was a bit better than this hotel, but not somewhere you would want to stay.
Would never recommend this place to anybody and its NOT cheap for what you get.
Photos are not correct either - they may be really old, or not of this hotel at all.
We moved after 1 night to a great hotel just 5 minutes away - for the same price.
Very sad!!!
