Good location

location good ,4 kms away from temple, rooms big & well ventilated ,beach is little far and have to cross road ,staff very helpful & smiling, breakfast below average, food nothing great & spicy, cleanliness average

Disappointed - Not good at all except location.

Let me share my honest experience.
I booked Premium room with sea view for one day with lot of good reviews on Google, Booking.com and MMT, and hence my expectations were high. I reached around 5:30 PM and there was no warm welcome. Sanjay Chaudhary was the person only available in entire property. Room was allocated was not meeting even 2 star category of resort. There was no sea view from room. When we asked why not sea view then reason was given because of coconut tree growth sea view is not available now, then don’t know why MMT mentioned room category as premium with sea view. Really disappointed. Not worth for the price MMT is charging for such kind of rooms. There is no furniture in room except bed and one small wardrobe. Towels provided were smelling. Bed linen was ok. There is varanda for each room to seat and enjoy breakfast / dinner, however food is not served in room. After ordering food, need to go to resort restaurant only. Food test is ok. You can’t order a-la-catre breakfast, you need to book package and again breakfast will not be served in room. Looks like they do not have people to provide service to guest. Frequent electricity power cut and it may stay 10-15 mins sometimes. Difficult to stay without AC during power cut. Only BSNL network is available at facility. Wi-fi is good.
Hotel area is good full of greenery which is only plus point I can see. Beach is 5 mins walk from villa. Malgund beach is polluted with lot of solid waste on the beach. No beach cleanup. Please contact property and ask for photos of room and view from room before booking this property.
I will not visit again to this property. Travelled on 30th June 2022 with family.

Beautiful views but property needs renovation

We stayed at this property in Dec 2021 and it was a mixed experience. The property is located just 2 mins walk from Malgund Beach. The room booked was a room with a Seaview and I must say the views were exceptionally beautiful. I could see the sun going down in the sea while sipping my coffee in the verandah area of the room. The property has been made beautifully, with trees all around, different rooms built on different elevation and the best part is you can park your car just outside your room.
But the problem is that the property is quite old and has not been renovated from quite some time. There is dampness in the room, bedsheets are not clean, washroom cleanliness is not satisfactory, service is slow and you need to tell them in advance if you want to have lunch or dinner in the property itself. If they renovate and work on their service, it could be a game changer for them.
I found Mr Sanjay very helpful and he also suggested the places to visit around and the local stuff that you can buy from the village and from where to buy it like a local brand of pickles & Gavran Poha etc.
If you want to have lunch/dinner outside somewhere near by, you can try this place called Ganesh Dhaba. They serve homemade tasty food. You can connect with - Mr Sagar - 84199-25476 / 81046-96932.

Good villas which require upgrade and maintanence

Villas are spacious and gives you complete view of the sea. Bed linen seems to be old and may have not been washed, walls appeared to be not painted for ages and dustbins were rusty. With good maintanence and a little bit of renovation can make this place beautiful.
Parking is available at villa which is convenient given the uphill. Food is OK and not so great. Restaurant is kind of open area with a shed so it might be difficult having food on hot days.
