They don’t care
My wife and I arrived at Seven Apples on the first night of our wedding, expecting it to be a memorable experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of our trip.
When I made the booking, I clearly requested one double bed (not twin beds) and also mentioned that it was our wedding stay. I even requested a small romantic decoration—nothing extravagant, just something simple to make the occasion feel special. None of these requests were honored. We were given a twin-bed room with absolutely no decoration or acknowledgment of the occasion.
The next morning, I spoke to the staff and requested that they change us to a room with a proper double bed. After returning from our wedding celebrations, we were shocked to find that the replacement room reeked of cigarette smoke. It was unbearable. For a hotel to assign a smoking-smelling room to newlyweds after being told the purpose of the stay is simply unacceptable.
The room had no special setup, no effort, and no sense that anyone had even read the booking notes. It felt like every request we made was completely ignored.
This wasn’t just disappointing—it completely ruined what should have been a special part of our wedding experience. We wasted money, time, and effort trying to communicate our requests, only to be met with indifference.
If you’re booking this hotel for a special occasion and expect them to care about your requests or make even the smallest effort, don’t count on it. Based on our experience, they simply don’t.
