Sehr empfehlenswert

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, das Zimmer ist groß und super sauber, ebenso das Badezimmer, welches zwar Basic eingerichtet ist, aber alles sehr sauber
Ich bekam einen schönen Marsalla Tea und Wasser, außerdem wurde mir wegen eines sehr frühen Check outs noch ein Päckchen for das Frühstück mit gegeben
Ich war begeistert

Very Bad Service , Hotel mamangement very hostile towards guests

I checked into this hotel on the 19th of January 2026 and stayed for two days. The staff of the hotel is rude , incompetent and very ill mannered especially the woman who takes care of the reception. From the time I stepped into the hotel I saw a marked disinterest in the attitude of the woman towards guests. She was highly hostile and appeared to be treating guests more of an annoyance rather than an opportunity to be served and thus earn repute. After making me write the details she just threw the key at me and asked me to find the room myslef without assigning anyone to carry my luggage. I had to pull my luggage myself two floors. The airconditioner was not working properly and the manager said it was ruined by a previous guest. I couldnt understand when he was ware of it why he gave me that room. The next day I asked about breakfast. The woman told me that the hotel does not serve breakfast. When I said Im entitled to complimentary breakfast she said i shall have to take an auto and go to another restaurant about ten kilometres away as the restaurant there dont serve it. Is it a joke? I wanted to talk to manager. She refused to share his number. I found a number in my voucher and called it. The person there told me that I am not entitled to complimentary breakfast. When I showed my voucher he disowned it it and said it is a mistake. I had to get it from outside by paying from my pocket and it cost me rs 500/- . I requested my room to be cleaned. They refused it. I requested some coffee packs it was refused. Shocking apathy from the management as well as staff . I shall never recommend this hotel even to my enemies.

Good Food!!!!

One of the oldest property in Portblair.The food at this place is really good. They got Bar also.You will find awesome service from the staff.Lunch will be closed by 2pm.You should reach before time to have food.The price is also good.Parking area is very less.They need to improve on cleanness.

Good restaurant

My wife and I stayed in Port Blair for 6 nights and had terrible trouble finding a decent place to eat. Having travelled through India for the last 15 years and having had some fabulous meals we could not believe how bad the standard of restaurants were in Port Blair.
Although we did not stay in the actual hotel we ate twice in this restaurant and found the food to be very good. Lovely friendly welcome and fantastic service. One of the few non veg restaurants in Port Blair. They sell good quality food at reasonable prices. Beer and spirits also available. No wifi.

Good enough

We stayed here during our trip to Port Blair. The hotel is below the Bar and Restaurant with the same name. Rooms were decent and the service was good. Our room had an a/c but the remote wasn't working well, a/c is recommended in Port Blair during summers.
