Excellent staff and good room and bathroom. Breakfast pretty god and very good value all round. Several bars and restaurants in the locality. Fairly easy walk to the sights. A metro station about 15 minutes walk. Worth trying as it's modern and pretty unused. The only problem was a lot of noise from a bar directly below our room that went on until 1.30!!

Staff a little reserved/officious at times. A situation over hotel rules was handled without tact and made me consider moving.
Breakfast basic. My room was skipped for cleaning one day.
Wifi did not work until the second day and no obvious effort made to fix this when it broke or inform guests when it was back. No apology offered.
Door and generalnstaff very helpful.
Some.street noise and loud music from neighbouring bar, but I felt this was reasonable/unavoidable for a downtown location.

This is the place to stay if you are looking for a great location, easy access to local historical sites, kind and professional service on every level, a generous breakfast, and a comfortable bed. We stayed for six nights at the Diplomat and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Pathetic Reception Staff

I don't know why the management are not taking any action towards the staffs in reception, their behavior is so pathetic doesn't know to talk to a customer, because of Customer your business is running, and if no customer then definetly u will shut down your business.
Rooms full of cockroaches
Food is so pathetic and no taste at all and no manners and even don't know how to talk to a customer.
I request trip advisor to take a necessary action against this hotel diplomat. If your team visit this hotel as a customer u will have a better opinion.
Or else the diplomat management should take necessary action against hotel staff especially at the reception.
