Dense forest location , limited choices but good good , furniture needs upgrade/repair
rooms size = enough.
room furniture quality = need improvements.
room location = good .
surrounding area of hotel = dense forest , amazing place.
Monkey menace = high.
don't keep door opens or don't eat at back side rooms lounge area they may attack you.
@Night , the hotel supervisor Jacky makes the best environment for you
tables with food / liquor served (Liquor from outside) , Music , fire camp.
Even we gave him our snacks & he prepared dressing with onions , tomato etc , tasty.
Breakfast = only 3 to 4 item choices but tasty food.
rooms fixes/furniture are old & need repair.
no other accessories/provides inside room like hot water drinking kettle etc.
Hotel is 2KM from station but near 5 to 6 sight seeing points so choice is yours.
I like surroundings.
Overall 90% worth to price , once hotel rooms upgraded bit it will be 100%.
No complaints with supervisor named Jacky he is nice guy will help you by all means possible for him.

Know your hotel (KYH)
If you’ve ever wondered what life was like decades ago with constant power cuts and basic inconveniences, this hotel gives you that experience firsthand. Even during a short stay, you may find yourself running around trying to get the electricity restored instead of enjoying your vacation.
The food was average at best, but hygiene is a serious concern. To make things even more “interesting,” monkeys practically own the property. The moment food arrives at your table, they come down from the trees to inspect — or taste — it before you can.
The hotel is also far from the market, and reaching there becomes a project in itself. You need to arrange a horse ride, negotiate the fare, travel to the market, and then repeat the entire process to return. What should have been a peaceful getaway turns into a tiring exercise.
The rooms are below average and certainly not worth the money charged.
Maybe some guests had a better experience, and according to me, they were simply lucky. Reviews like this may help others who are booking without knowing what to expect.

Good hotel
We played badminton and cricket over there. We had booked a room with breakfast and the breakfast was quite good and we could eat till our stomachs were full. The waiters and the room service over there was quite good, and were very helpful.The resort is located such that all the major points of Matheran was easily accessible. Except for the TV, overall a good experience.
