It's a shelter for homeless with money n nothing more

At the first place you enter the reception not a single person is bothered to greet the customer, maybe pretty obvious because they rent out the rooms for cheap rates.
Once rooms are allocated probably they do not expect you to be staying in the room during the day as it was all disturbing with lot of noise. Some sort of renovation or repair work happening maybe.
So now coming to the quality of room and rating the cleanliness, rooms were cleaned well. Burnt towel with big holes covered with artistic folds n decorated on the bed, solid pillow n mattress loaded with ants biting through the day or night. If you are lucky you may also spot rat, cockroach n lizards running around in your room that comes out of your bathroom. Bathroom is so well ventilated that if a person smokes in the bathroom attached to his room I would get the kick. So basically its a room to hide yourself from the crowd if you were to sleep in the open lands and the facilities that gives you enough water to drink and to wash. Value for money? Think about it!

The worst lodging ever!

This place has apparently been renovated but from the looks of it, does not seem so. The reception area is shabby and badly maintained. The lift cannot accommodate more than two people. The rooms smell musty, dirty linen and the bathroom was the dirtiest bathroom I have ever seen. There was a huge hole in the bathroom wall overlooking the road that had not been covered. And it was a nightmare if I had to go to the bathroom in the night. If you're in for a dirty adventure, then Vedanta is the place for you.
