Cramped Rooms and Maintenance Issues - Avoid for Families

My recent stay at hotel Vijay was disappointing, primarily due to the extremely small size of the rooms. If you're traveling with a family, especially with a child, I strongly advise against staying here. The rooms are simply too cramped to comfortably accommodate more than two people.
Beyond the size, there were significant maintenance issues. The washbasin tap and toilet jet were both leaking, which was both inconvenient and wasteful. Additionally, the bathroom light was not functioning, making it difficult to use the facilities.
Parking was another major problem. The hotel lacks a proper parking area, and my driver faced considerable difficulties finding a suitable spot. This caused unnecessary stress and delays.

Worst service.. lost my iPhone charger from room itself.

Worst service.. lost my iPhone charger from room itself. Just after vacating the room i contacted the hotel reception, there reply was no such charger in room. I am dawn sure that in my 5 days stay i never unplugged the charger from the charging point. Definitely room service department is well aware of the charger.

We did not find your charger in room. My room service person does not use iPhone chargers. We checked the room at once and did not find your charger.

OK OK for person travelling alone and who can withstand smoking smell

We booked this hotel just to refresh ourselves and luckily we didn't stay.
1) Very small room, they say can accommodate 2 adults + 1 kid But for sure it is sufficient only for one person.
2) Somewhere I read they don't allow smoking but from lift to hallways it was full of smoking smell so for sure not for family with kids to stay
3) Floors looks very untidy and dirty. Even linens were brownish
4) Only plus point its budget friendly and since we just wanted to refresh I booked the rooms.

Our room size is 10 X11 and toilet size is 9 X 4. We do not allow smoking in common areas and Alcohol is prohibited. We wash our linens regularly. We are one of the cheapest hotel in Madurai.
