Pleasant and Comfortable

A private resort with abundant space and is walking distance from Gavi forest check post. Host Jacob was superb and was all out to help and assist us in our last minute requests. He did a splendid job in confirming the day forest package run by Kerala Forest Department. Meals provided in the resort was exemplary and suited our taste buds. Would definitely recommend to friends and families.

A Memorable stay near Gavi

Absolutely a warm and cozy experience with the L&G Riverview Haven team, especially Jacob who took care of my kids when I was visiting Sabarimala. He guided us to all the locations nearby, arranged Jeeps, and elephant safari, and kept us comfortable throughout our stay. Well-maintained rooms, good food, and a location to remember. The location is very close to the Vallakadavu check post, which makes it easier for Gavi entry and Sathram to enter. given the hospitality, I would recommend everyone and my coming back to this hotel is very much likely. Serene must visit place

Serene beautiful scenery. Lovely accommodation. World class hospitality and lovely food. What more for a weekend getaway! Must visit place for the views, peace and affectionate hosts. It was a truly rejuvenating weekend for our family. Will definitely revisit!

Decent place to stay.

Just as you leave the Vallakadavu check post you come across River Haven. A small property with 8 rooms. It is run by a family. The river is on the other side of the road and if it is summer there will be very little water. Rooms are decent. Could have been slightly bigger. The food is made to order and is very tasty. Over all enjoyed our stay. The staff go out of the way to take care of all your needs. I do not think they ever say NO to anything.

A nice place to stay if you are planning to visit in Gavi, Kerala

I & my family travelled this week to Gavi, Stayed in L&G property. Great value for money, friendly staff & awesome homemade food. Property is 500 meters from Gavi forest entry. They helped us with local transport & guided us with places to visit. Food was the highlight, authentic Kerala cuisine- plenty of options. Mr Jacob Gunaseelan & team were very helpful.
