A comfortable stay at Ganpati Hotel

We stayed for 2 nights last weekend at the Ganpati Boutique Hotel, Katra as we wanted to do darshan at Vaishno Devi temple. I always pick hotels after a lot of research and genuine reviews and ratings play an important factor for me.
I am glad that I made a good pick. We were a large group of 12 people, and so booked 4 rooms. The rooms were quite spacious for us to get extra beds. The bathrooms were quite clean and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory.
The hotel is very well located, and we found it very convenient to head out for meals at eateries nearby.
The front desk and support staff were also courteous and forthcoming with advice.
Our return to Jammu was also easily managed by the transport team and were very flexible to our last minute plan changes.
Overall, a memorable stay. I will recommend it my friends and relatives, and hope to back again soon!

Worst, Pathetic, beware, 3rd class, no service, Stay away, pathetic

1st thing - Be aware from this Hotel & staff. They are one of the worst people, Ill mannered & bad behaved . No service. Bathroom are wet. No people for service. They charge you for extra bedding for 4-5 kids. Their travel deal is pathetic which gives you contact details of transporter who does not turned up for pick up. You can miss your train /flight . Hotel don’t owned any responsibility for anything. They just want their room teriff & rest for all services, guests all selves responsible. It’s my humble request … PLZ PLZ PLZ don’t stay & keep urself away from this hotel. They behave badly with female guests

Very poor quality of Hotel and service

My stay was only for a night but the room was full of damp smell and the hotel also lacks in basic amenities like electric kettle not working. Family rooms for 4 have only one toilet and corridor is also dark. Totally a nightmare experience. Please don't visit this hotel

Pathetic Hotel

Accept the location everything else is a complete let down. This should be the last option if you don't find another place to stay! Bathrooms are a complete disaster, basin used to get choked as we used to switch-on the tap. One side of the rooms face a wall when you look outside from the window, other side a garbage dump. Doors don't close properly. Find yourself lucky if there cable TV works.

Pleasant Stay during our vaishno Devi Trip

We were 3 of us took a triple bed room this is a small hotel the rooms were clean importantly had good heaters and food was very decent compared to Sagar . The hotel is centrally located we could get an auto at 5AM to the starting point of yatra banaganga
