Best hotel in Dharmshala

Hotel is so good . Cleaning and management make it fabulous. My personal experience in this hotel is excellent. I gave 5 star because of healthy food and cleaning . I aslo love location of hotel. Staff management is excellent. Staff manager viren gave his best.

Horrifying Stay – Threatened, Intimidated, and Denied Basic Amenities!
We had one of the worst hotel experiences ever at Classic Hills Dharamshala. We were a group of four families, with young children ( kids under 8 years of age), and had checked in on 29th April 2025 for 3 nights [Room #101,102,103 & 201 on second floor] expecting a peaceful vacation.
What followed was nothing short of a nightmare.
One fine morning I get 15-20 calls constantly asking to move to another hotel without any prior notice, the hotel staff rudely demanded that we vacate our rooms because they had another group booking. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they threatened us when we refused to vacate and move to another hotel of their choice, saying “If you don’t vacate, my staff will do what they have to do.” This was intimidating and completely unacceptable, especially with children involved and our luggage for roughly 13 Pax (8 Adults and 5 children) . Although the hotel owner Apologized over telephonic discussion and offered us free lunch on the house that we obviously refused and we however demanded to meet him in person to sort this instance with his Manager at the front desk; which they never bothered to reach out to us , we eventually had to forcefully find an alternate accommodation despite paying full amount during check-in. Only good thing was staff at the Dining room were courteous.
To make matters worse, they cut off the water supply to our rooms in an apparent attempt to force us out. We were left without water to even use the washroom or take a shower. We had to request the room service staff to bring us buckets of water just to freshen up. This level of inhuman treatment is beyond comprehension.
We were not just guests—we were families with small children, and the way we were treated was disrespectful, unsafe, and utterly disgraceful. No hospitality, no empathy, and no accountability.
I strongly urge fellow travelers to avoid Classic Hills Dharamshala at all costs. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially not families on vacation.

BEST HOTEL IN DHARMSHALA

One of the best hotels ive ever been to in Dharmshala eapecially being a trip owner it was a very hectic task for me to handle aca group of 62 people but Viren bhai helped me a lot in thiis area which made my stay very smooth
I loved my stay at this hotel , love the service and the staff was too kind and supportive

Great Stay

The Hotel Classic Hill is very good hotel. The staff is very kind and courteous. They attended all our needs with utmost care. The caretaker Madan is very nice and helpful guy. Even the Manager Mr Viren is very kind and supportive. Over all very good stay. Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel is very near to Bhagsu temple and waterfall.
