Had a wonderful stay at Elvish Cottages in Palampur. The property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mountain views, and it’s a great place to relax.
A special thanks to Dinesh, who took excellent care of us throughout our stay. He was always friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality really made our visit even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable stay in Palampur!

⭐ 1/5 – Misleading Listing & Disappointing Experience

I booked the "Hill View One Bedroom Suite" through MakeMyTrip expecting a private stay for my family. Only on the day of check-in, after travelling from Delhi and after the cancellation deadline had passed, was I informed that it was actually a room within a shared villa where the living room and kitchen would be shared with other guests.
The listing did not clearly disclose that unrelated guests could occupy other rooms in the same villa. This completely defeated the purpose of booking a private family getaway.
To make matters worse, there was ongoing construction on the property, incomplete amenities (missing toiletries, no kettle in the room despite being listed), repeated directions to use the shared kitchen for basic necessities, power and water supply issues, and poor handling of concerns by both the property and booking platform.
The most disappointing part was the lack of transparency. Guests deserve to know exactly what they are booking before the cancellation period expires.
Would not recommend to families looking for privacy, comfort, and a hassle-free vacation.
