THE place to stay in Kaza
Enjoyed two nights there, on a solo journey through Spiti Valley. This is an unusual oasis of hospitality, with many personal touches by the owner, Karan, who is also very personable – a joy to chat with.
The hotel has the feelings of a home rather than a hotel.
The food is exceptional, offering Indian, Tibetan and European foods. Each meal was a sheer delight.
The atmosphere of my hotel room was warm, clean and hospitable, the bed soothing and the amenities all made the stay very comfortable.
If you are a reader, the extensive eclectic library will be a haven for you.
I certainly highly recommend Hotel Deyzor if you are travelling through this area. You will never forget the pleasures of your stay here.

we had a half thukpa (full is only if you're sharing), and chicken kiev. Both lovely.
