Staying in Haridwar.. look no where else
However, to keep up the momentum, I suggest that the basic upkeeps be done such as Cable TV was not working.. Utilities such as toothpaste/ razors be provided etc etc

Poor Accessibility, Misleading Details, and No Sense of Customer Care – Avoid Hotel Alpana
Once I managed to connect, the hotel informed me that no cars or public vehicles can reach the property, and guests must walk nearly 1.5 kilometers from the main road, carrying their luggage themselves. This information was never disclosed on their MakeMyTrip listing — a serious omission, especially for elderly travelers or those with medical conditions.
Despite explaining the situation and submitting my mother’s medical documentation, the hotel refused to consider a refund or even a partial adjustment, citing a two-hour delay in cancellation. Their tone was uncompassionate, rigid, and unprofessional, completely disregarding the genuine hardship involved.
Hotels should prioritize transparency, accessibility information, customer empathy, and flexible problem-solving — traits this property clearly lacks. Such experiences undermine trust in both hospitality partners and booking platforms.
Strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel, especially if you are traveling with elderly family members or require accessible accommodation.

Okay just for night stay, only plus is its proximity to Hari ki Paudi. Which is at walking distance.
Staff at the front desk was very helpful.
Food prices are high, i.e. a cup of Tea costs ₹60/-.
Rooms have no view at all.
Approach is extremely narrow and surrounding are very old city lane type.
While appraching the hotel our expectations were very low, but we were pleasantly surprised with the room size, cleaniness of the place and helpful staff.

They dont provide stool to sit while bathing. which is must for elders.
The AC is centralized but time to time it is not effective in cooling.
only plus points are big room, hotel is in the main market. all ghats are within walking distance. so recommending this hotel to all
