Wonderful find in Hampi - definitely no complaints!

We had booked to stay at another hotel in Hampi (Government run) and had already paid for 2 nights but were so disappointed with the standard of the "deluxe room" we walked out. Our driver took us to Hotel Varsha, what a lucky find. The owner and staff were so friendly, and when they showed us a bedroom, well, it was so clean and tidy we booked in for 2 nights (less than a third of the price of the "deluxe room" we had walked out of) the restaurant was busy and the food delicious - plus cold beers and chatty smiling staff, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Greedy and Unprofessional Hotel doesn't respect prepaid bookings.

One of our worst hotel experiences. We booked 3 AC rooms via Goibibo, the owner forced us to take 2 AC and 1 very small, poorly ventilated non-AC room. With no alternatives during a crowded long weekend, we had no choice. Greedy hotel owner didn't respect our booking. Later got to know, that this is a common practice in this hotel.
Stay away from this hotel at any cost, if you want mental peace.
Hampi is historic and beautiful. People are supportive. Only this hotel is an exception.

If you are a foodie!! And can ignore the ambience for the authentic food. This is the place.

This place is bustling with guests .
Don't be fooled by the looks of the place.
Food served is just yumm .
Amazing andhra thali. Seating is bit congested . It's like a 2star dining place but food is another level.
When you plan day for Hampi site seeing. And in 12-3 break ( followed by all guides n locals) once can drive to this place , 3km from hampi.
Must try: bonaffe pie , lassi

Convenient location close to heritage sites

A good hotel option as basis to explore Hampi. Rooms are decent size and have essential facilities without the fancies. Staff was polite and helpful and the on site restaurant served affordable and varied menu.

Location

This is a pretty decent lodge close to Hampi. There is nothing fancy in this place, but it offers neat and clean rooms with a good place to dine. As there are limited places to stay near Hampi, the rooms are pretty expensive for the facilities it provides.
