Small hotel

Hotel Nijver in Geldrop is located in the upper floor of café-restaurant Peijnenburg. Small hotel, breakfast is served in Peijnenburg. Our room was small, so was the bathroom. The top mattress of the bed is a bit too big for the bed ... what tricky when you sit on the edge of the bed. The terrace of Peijnenburg gives you relatively little trouble in your upstairs hotel room. Breakfast at Peijnenburg is good.

Too bad for the price

The room "De luxe" was about 16 m2 and therefore significantly smaller than the 24 m2 listed on hotels.com. You had to hang around between bed and desk.
It was cold in the room and the heat only worked after 2 hours.
In general, there was a lack of finesse in the room and bathroom, and it all seemed rough.
The positive of the stay was the breakfast, which was excellent. The location in the middle of the city was also nice.

A fantastic quiet hotel, for me located in the center with all restaurants, supermarkets, castle & windmill in walking or in a short distance

Not thinking along and not customer friendly

Fairground for the hotel this they had not indicated when booking. It was so much noise that we asked at the reception if we could cancel. They first said you're not going to bed early, are you? Weird answer we had also booked a table but only the terrace was open and we did not feel like eating between the fairgrounds. We drove 2 hours but abandoned it anyway. Fine they said and they walked away from the reception .... For us never again this hotel in Brabant
