We arrived around 7.30pm and were asked if we’d like a restaurant reservation, we said yes as not eaten and kids needed food.
The hotel staff were helpful and nice enough, but the restaurant staff we felt like a sheer inconvenience, they couldn’t have been more unhelpful and inattentive. The menu was in Dutch (absolutely fine) but we had to work out for ourselves that there was a small QR code for other languages.
The other diners glared/stared at us for what felt like our whole meal, they were elderly so we probably shattered their quiet.
Postive were the ev chargers on site.
Another negative was the numerous mosquito bites I left the hotel with, although can’t really blame them for that.
Unlikely we’d return on our journey back.

NEVER AGAIN !!! Find yourself a hostel!
The outbuildings or extension are decidedly ugly and do not fit visually at all to the main house. Our room was in a catastrophic condition: cheap and unlovingly decorated, dust on all shelves (see photos).
The bathroom was even worse. Something fell off me, and as I bent down, I saw the massive dirt under the washbasin (also photographed). To top it off, there was a dirty towel from the previous guest – absolutely unacceptable.
The bedroom was laid out with an ancient carpet that seemed really disgusting (photo). Cables ran across the carpet across the room. Overall, the room made an unkempt, loveless impression.
The price charged is disproportionate to the service. A youth hostel is cleaner and much more welcoming.
One thing is certain: I will never book here again. Then I'd rather sleep in my camper van.
